Free falling tears
Pitter-patter as they hit the ground
You said we were forever,
But our time together passed like seconds, tick, tick, ticking on a clock
Now you go,
Seeking bigger better things
You were my reason
My hopes,
My dreams,
My everything
But I was just a moment in your life
You said we were forever
And I believed you without even thinking
My heart said to love you, so I did,
I guess your heart had different orders
You look upon me as I weep,
You look upon me as I weep and you walk out of my life
It's always hard to say goodbye,
You were here one moment then gone the next

Meant for each other,
Soul mates even
Logic didn’t tell me to listen to my head
My heart powered my motives
