"I'm not going to hurt you!" Said the second boy.
"What's your name?" Asked the first.
"I'm Jack Sprat" he replied.
"Hi. I'm Kenny..." He said.

"So Kenny you hungry? I found a crate of beans over there." He pointed to an open crate next to where Jack had been sitting before.

The homeless former scholar watched the girl as well as he could between the rushing train cars, shocked both by the gift in return and by her risky maneuver she had ventured. He waited patiently, then walked across the tracks casually towards her, one of his hands clasping the gold chain as if it was all he valued.

((No more interuptions. I'm here in this RP to stay.))

The girl sighs and jumps off, landing on her behind. She rubs the sore spot, and looks in fear at the man walking towards her. "W-what?" she asks in fear, brushing her red hair outta her eyes, letting him see the sharpness of the jade and emerald

Prying open the cast iron door with his spritely hobo strength, Jeffery Woodworth checked the coast for police, trainsmen, and other vagrants, and then lopped his sack of cans over the side. Futher down the track he could make out the station with an old blue-on-white signpost declaring 'Welcome to Copperdale'. He slid out of the carriage after pushing the boxes back into place, and landed with a cloud of train track dust billowing up around him. All around him he could hear the sounds of a half dozen trains coming and going from the small rustic city, making loud whooshes as they sucked the air behind them.

'You have ten seconds' murmured Woodworth the 7th. Without as much as a why, Jeffery waited and soon began to feel quite hungry. Sure, liberating goods was fine and dandy, but he usually preferred when he could eat them. A damp and metallic smell wafted downwind, running into Jeffery, "Canned Beans" was the immediate response from his hobo indentification array. "Can I wait?" he said out loud as he eyed his burlap sack of his treasure, "Probably better to get these in...is a Thursday after all. I think." As Jeffery attempted to cross the first rail, a train came whoosing past on the second, unnerving him. 'Ya coward!' bellowed the voice in his head.

"Perhaps I will investigate those beans then..."

Kenny and Jack both stared to eat cold beans ((*spews up* XD)) from the tin. The beans were the first thing Kenny had had in 3 days so naturally he threw them down his throut and was and to his second can in 1 minute flat.

The scholar crouched down in his odd manner. It was what he did rather than sit. He reached down with his hand, offering it to help the girl up, still clutching the gold chain she had given him in his other hand. "Be careful, I wouldn't want to lose you like my last friend," he quietly warned as he continued his offer to help her up. He was tired of being alone, and this girl seemed unfit to be wandering the alleys alone. She looked abandoned, worse off than she had been before, though not much more.

"Don't be afraid... I don't want to hurt you. I want to help," the former scholar comforted her. This close, now, the name "Pierre" was visibly embroidered into the collar of his cloak. As he grew more serious even than before, a bit of a French accent showed itself, though barely noticable.

Aneila (Yes, that is her name!) hesitantly took his hand, trembling. She bit her lip, then felt warm liquid run down her chin. She took her hand back and wiped her chin, looking at her tiny hand. Even through dirt and filth, bright and dark red blood could be seen. She placed her hand on her lip, trembling again, and looking at the man in fear
