It's Just a Matter of Time in '59 beat Yakety Yak record of 7 when came to being #1 on weeks on the U.S. R&B Singles chart.

Yakety Yak had 7 weeks being #1 on weeks on the U.S. R&B Singles chart whereas It's Just a Matter of Time had 9 weeks being #1 on weeks on the U.S. R&B Singles chart.
