Well I have a few questions...

1) What is the text called that many people use for subtext on sigs?

2) The checkerd patern that you put on sigs, what is that called and what program do I use to get it?

3) How do you do cut outs for avatars and sigs?

4) Where do I get templates for sigs and avatars?

5) Were the subtext goes on a sig, some people have like.. a bar that they type it in. How do I get that and where?

if you can answer my questions, I will be very gratefull!!

The programs I have are Psp8 and Photoshop.

1. You might want to specify with pictures.
2. Dunno, you could just make it or get it off the net, followed by recoloring or something.
3. God I feel stupid. Not sure.
4. Refer to this ^
5. You could make it. Not that hard.

First, you're better off asking in The Workshop- that's where these kinda questions belong.

1/ They're called pixel fonts- try Redensek, Silkscreen, supermarket, or 04b_03b.
2/ That's a grid pattern you can make on Photoshop. Make a 3x3 (or 5x5, or any small square) transparent canvas and draw a pixel cross, define that as a pattern using the Edit menu, then go to the image where you want to use, hit Select All (Ctrl+A), then Edit >> Fill, select your pattern, and the rest should be self explanatory.
3/ Just cut stuff out and leave no background. In other words, all you really need to do is open a blank transparent canvas then do whatever you want.
4/ You can Google them up.
5/ Well, there are various ways to do this. Draw a bar, select a rectangular area then use the fill tool, or just use the rectangle shape tool.

1) What is the text called that many people use for subtext on sigs?
silkscreen, bit dust
2) The checkerd patern that you put on sigs, what is that called and what program do I use to get it?
can you give me a picture with this effect?
3) How do you do cut outs for avatars and sigs?
in photoshop, you make the bottom layer transparent, and delete all the stuff on all the layers above it in the desired cut out areas
4) Where do I get templates for sigs and avatars?
google search
5) Were the subtext goes on a sig, some people have like.. a bar that they type it in. How do I get that and where?
you create it using the pixel brush. draw two lines about ten pixels apart, then type the desired subtext. you can also do backgrounds specifically for this section, but i wont get into that.

If you're using Photoshop, I think http://www.pslover.com/ will help you a lot.
