I have some images that I made in the GIMP that have multiple transparencies and dropshadows. They look quite nice as .pngs in Firefox, exactly as I want them to.

But only in Firefox. IE junks them of course. I've tried saving them as .gifs but they get massacred in the process. :( How can I save those transparencies to work in IE? Can I?

Sadly, I don't think there is a way. :(

Yeah, that's what I've been reading so far on various help sites. Bleah.

I did get around it by adding a background color, but that limits what can be done with the images. Better than nothing I suppose.
