I can handle Brutes. The wheel boon pays well; it's just hard to remember to actually spin. But more CC ítems from Mediocrity are always nice, too.

I would kinda prefer not Brutes, but...whatever the bandwagon goes with.

ETA: Going with Order, because BLP wants to use another FQFC.

On a totally different note, apparently the middle difficulty is the way to go right now, due to a bug in the code:
Comment thread from this Reddit post:

brutes 44681835 score with 2166 players (1160 few battles = between 10 and 20)
sway 19099365 score with 3475 players (2248 few battles = between 10 and 20)
awakened 37630406 score with 1043 players (592 few battles = between 10 and 20)
Top brutes players: 11200, 10470, 10100, 8504, 7315, 4458, 4100, 3400, 3050, 3000
Top sway players: 10018, 7357, 3142, 1900, 1784, 1203, 1036, 1000, 811, 800
Top awakened players: 25144, 25092, 25083, 25008, 12733, 10864, 10675, 7895, 6000, 3979

25k people were doing lower difficulty?

two fought the npc with id 243 (brute5) in the third type. I would guess thats high difficulty but not sure. Another did the same but with the npc with id 246 (sway5). Don't have at hand the fourth username

hm, that doesn't make sense. t5 on highest difficulty is 450pts, so with just four people who did 25k battles, awakened would have 45m points. we also know that the three people who did 10-12k battles definitely did them on t5 hard, so in reality those people could've accounted for 22m points max.
did the 25k+ fight folks not win their battles? or are you calculating points in a different way than i am?

Well, I am fairly sure the function that calculates the points based on difficulty is bugged as it expects the difficulty to be 0 indexed but is in fact 1 indexed.
Which means that for those npc, the points are 225 and in easy it gives 337.5 points, in medium 450 and in hard 225 (because the multiplier "is not defined" at that index)
Interesting how this "life changing" bugs go unnoticed for many years

this is smurf hilarious, holy smurf. first we get unknown draiks because of typos, now we get off-by-one obelisk scoring errors. if TNT ever discovers the concept of a unit test they will be unstoppable.

Is this true for all obelisk opponents or just the faction bosses?

I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry. Guess it's a lot easier to earn max points for your team now, if you couldn't OHKO the hard level of the bosses... :lol: :( :wall: :roflol:

I went with the caverns boon.

Day 1: 690 NP (290 net)
Day 2: 1344 NP (944 net, total 1234)
Day 3: 1390 NP (990 net, total 2224)
Day 4: 1422 NP (1022 net, total 3246)
Day 5: 531 NP (131 net, total 3377)
Day 6: 1039 NP (639 net, total 4016)
Day 7: ??? I forgot to copy and paste it, but it was under 1000 NP ( so under 600 NP net)

That means my total was under 5k for the week. Ugh.


I actually managed 5k from the caverns Saturday during battling, so I may have used up all my luck there for a while. Edit day 6: Seems to be, so far. I'm averaging less than 700 NP per day.

Caverns here, too. Don't forget to do some delays between clicking just in case there's a server glitch. :)

Day 1: LRR - 1942 NP!
Day 2: LLL - 2460 NP!
Day 3: LRL - 2281 NP!
Day 4: RLL - Glitched and failed. :( Apparently you can wait TOO long.
Day 5: RRR - 2442 NP!
Day 6: RRL - 1640 NP!
Day 7: LRR - 1794 NP!

At least no lowball days? The glitch day was a big sad face, though.
