I saw, and loved, Kung Fu Panda. I usually loathe CGI films. I'm the only person in the world who hates Finding Nemo. This film was just really well done, funny, and endearing.

I've heard it was a good movie.

And I'm surprised.

I mean, it's Dreamworks, and they usually make crappy movies like "Shark Tale" and "Madagascar".

In my opinion, Pixar owns Dreamworks.

27 Dresses - It was an alright chick flick. I'm a sucker for weddings. I'll probably identify very well with the main character in the future...organized, always helping others, yada yada. A usual chickflick protagonist.

Kung Fu Panda - Amazingly humorous. Crazy animation and I laud Dreamworks for a pretty good story line (though it may be predictable and cliche in some instances). Very well-ended. I laughed all the way through. Highly recommended!

I definitely agree on that. One of Pixar's new movies that I am dying to see is Wall-E. Just watching the trailer blew my mind!

And let's face it, Shark's Tale and Madagascar were seriously just bad

Well, I'm about to eat my words as I just saw Kung Fu Panda (not intentionally, we bought tickets for "The Strangers" and it was canceled after we bought our tickets so we got to see Kung Fu Panda and got free movie vouchers for our next show)... and I loved it [Kung Fu Panda].

It was amazingly funny and it had me laughing all throughout the movies. There were some parts I could not stop thinking about in the movie as they were hysterical, and all the voice actors did amazing. I love the wide array of talent they selected and it was refreshing to see some actors back on the scene again (Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman, etc...).

Definitely recommend it :)

The Happening: It was an interesting concept but the acting and dialogue was DREADFUL. Seriously, who keeps hiring Zooey Descaniel? She's terrible. In one scene where she and her "husband" are supposed to be crying, you can see her grinning beside him and then, when the conversation brings attention to her character, quickly trying to put on her least convincing, 'OMG THIS IS SO SAD' face. Ugh.

I've heard of people being sadistic, but that's ridiculous! O_O

I forget if I ever reviewed it, but I saw The Bucket List a while back.
The reviews lied. XD
It was a pretty good movie, I must say. Witty dialogue, a nice story...and any movie that picks John Mayer to do a new song for the soundtrack is alright with me.

I watched War, Inc. last night. It is absolutely ridiculous and hilarious :P I'm no fan of John Cusack's, and I'm still not, but this movie was really enjoyable. The political message is there, and at times pushed a little too much, but I enjoyed the humour more than what the movie was commenting on. I'm not sure I can look at Hilary Duff the same way again.. Ha! And Ben Kingsley was GREAT!

Iron Man and The Increadible Hulk together.

They are the same movie I tell you!

Both Iron Man and the Hulk end up fighting larger derivatives of themselves, IE, the suit created from Iron Man and the abomination from Hulk's blood. This is effectively a way in which the main characters in both movies are able to externalise their own metaphorical internal 'fight' with themselves (Starks war mongering, Hulk's anger and violence) literally by allowing them to 'destroy' of defeat it, and so move past it.

The happening... don't bother... nothing was really happening

Jumper - It was pretty cool with the special effects. Somewhat interesting story line. Terrible, terrible ending. I watched it with my friends over the weekend, and when the credits started rolling, we all looked at each other and said, "That was it?" There will probably be a sequel with how the movie ended.

Casino Royale - The best recent James Bond movie, by far. Daniel Craig makes an excellent Bond - way better than Pierce Brosnan. I've already watched the movie twice in three days. I can't wait for the next one!

Get Smart. Loved it, but I'm a sucker for nostalgia.

Loved it too. It's one of those movies where I don't hate Steve Carell, and am proud of Anne Hathaway(who is gorgeous and not in a crappy movie for once), and I'm not terribly irritated by The Rock. Also, James Caan is wonderful.
Also, exploding dental floss.

Kung Fu Panda- Much better than I originally thought It'd be. It overall was pretty funny and had a good storyline. Pixar still wins though lol.

Get Smart- For me not seeing any commercials for it before seeing it, I thought it was pretty good. In my opinion there were things it could have done without but oh well. It seemed to move pretty fast, when it was over we all looked at our watches and said "it's done already?"

Kung Fu Panda was an awesome movie :). I dragged my boyfriend to see it with me (I'm 17 he's 18) and we both loved it. He wasn't expecting to like it but he was giggling the entire time and it still quoting it even though we saw it several hours ago. It was absolutely adorable and Jack Black had me cracking up.
