For me,it is,hands down,I Want to Live by Josh Gracin.

Quote:
Sometimes I feel like I need to shake myself
To wake myself
I feel like I'm just sleep walkin through my life
Its like I'm swimmin' in an ocean of emotion
But still somehow slowly goin' numb inside

I dont like who I'm becomin'
I know I've got to do somethin'
Before my life passes right by

I wanna cry like the rain
Cry like the rain
Shine like the sun on a beautiful mornin'
Sing to the heavens like a church bell ringin'
Fight with the devil and go down swingin'
Fly like a bird
Roll like a stone
Love like I aint afraid to be alone
Take everything that this world has to give
I wanna live

Sometimes I wonder why I work so hard
To guard my heart
Well I hardly feel anything at all
I've spent my whole life building up this ivory tower
Now that I'm in it I keep wishin' it would fall

So I could feel the ground beneath me
Well it takes this air I'm breathin
And know that I'm alive

I wanna cry like the rain
Cry like the rain
Shine like the sun on a beautiful mornin'
Sing to the heavens like a church bell ringin'
Fight with the devil and go down swingin'
Fly like a bird
Roll like a stone
Love like I aint afraid to be alone
Take everything that this world has to give
I wanna live
I wanna live

Something deep inside keeps saying life is like a vaper
Its gone in just the twinklin' of an eye

I wanna cry like the rain
Cry like the rain
Shine like the sun on a beautiful mornin'
Sing to the heavens like a church bell ringin'
Fight with the devil and go down swingin'
Fly like a bird
Roll like a stone
Love like I aint afraid to be alone
Take everything that this world has to give
I wanna take every breath i can get
I wanna live

Yeah Yeah

Currently, Bullet With Butterfly Wings by the Smashing Pumpkins, one line in particular.

Quote:
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage

I've been stuck in a "rut" since last year where I feel like something is missing and nothing satisfies me, in short I just don't feel content. I can't think of what I can do and what I've done so far hasn't worked to get me out of the "rut" hence the cage bit in the lyrics.

Yeah, I know this probably sounds really random but that's it at the moment!

No doubt the song or lyrics that I can relate to will change later though...

For me. It's 'My Tourniquet' by Evanescence. Particularly this line:

Quote:
I've tried to kill the pain, but only brought more (so much more)

Either "I don't wanna be" by Gavin DeGraw or "New Deep" by John Mayer. :)

Gives an idea of what song I feel best represents me. It's John Mayer's New Deep. Just holds true to a lot of the things I believe and thave learnt to become in life.

I think I relate to tons of songs really... but I think 'I Believe' (THE DIANA DEGARMO VERSION) is the best example. Every word of that song just makes me think of myself... it inspires me. I also think I can relate to 'Dreams' by DeGarmo, but not as much.

So I'm a little left of center
I'm a little out of tune
Some say I'm paranormal
So I just bend their spoon
Who wants to be ordinary
In a crazy, mixed-up world
I don't care what they're sayin'
As long as I'm your girl

The first verse of You Get Me by Michelle Branch. It's... umm... our song. Steve thought we needed one. Pretty cool song... scarily close to home.

I'd have to say 'Horoscope for Today' by Weird Al, it has been my favourite and most akin song for almost 4 years now.

Either Linkin Park's, "Numb."

Quote:
I've become so numb. I can't feel you there, I've become so tired, so much more aware. I'm becoming this-all I want to do-is be more like me, and be less like you.

Or Smashmouth's, "Waste."
Quote:
I'm lookin' at my watch, and all the time that's been stolen. When I was carrying you, it seems that I've tripped and I've fallen.".

And finally, Audioslave's, "Shadow on the Sun."
Quote:
I can tell you why, people go insane. I can show you how, you can do the same. I can tell you why, the end will never come. I can tell you I'm a shadow on the sun."

If you haven't guessed, I'm quite moody and depressed.
