I'm not much for holiday music, either. But I do enjoy Carol of the Bells and Holly, Jolly Christmas. Overall, I'd rather hear classic songs than modern ones that people keep coming out with, and I am heartily sick of spoofs.

Although, because I was born in 1981 and was a teenage in the 90s, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for "All I Want for Christmas is You", by Mariah Carey.

Been a long time since I've logged in to the forums, but I was bored and I love to talk music so here I am....

I just HAVE to put in my votes for Chistmas songs :D

I like everyones selections so far. I wasn't aware anyone else but my family wanted Hippos for Christmas ;)

My sister and I were shopping for a new angel for our tree and we heard Feliz Navidad. It was being sung by some girl :o We need laws against people doing things like this... Bing sings White Christmas, Nat sings The Christmas Song and Jose Feliciano is the ONLY one who sings Feliz Navidad! *hee hee*

Anyways... does anyone else know who The McKenzie Brothers are? They have a great 12 days of Christmas... well.. more like 9 days. heh.

I also like the Bing Crosby and David Bowie pairing on Little Drummer Boy, Barenaked Ladies with Sarah McLachlan on God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman and, of course, Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) sung by Darlene Love.

Hmm, a lot of them have already been mentioned, but I love "Little Saint Nick" by The Beach Boys.

Hmmmm... I really like Sufjan Steven's Christmas songs!

Some more traditional songs..

1) "O Holy Night"- Kelly Clarkson has a really good version
2) "Little Drummer Boy" - I like all versions! (Sufjan has a cool one)
3) "My Grown Up Christmas List"- Kelly again and Michael Buble

Noël nouvelet and Un flambeau, Jeannette, Isabelle are my favorites. They're gorgeous. When I was little, I had a Frank Sinatra Christmas tape that I'd listen to all the time too. I wore that poor thing out, but I dont remember much about it. Just that my Grandma got sick of it, and threatened to throw it away.

Ditto.

Oh, and I thought of another one: Baby, it's Cold Outside. By anyone except Jessica Simpson. When I heard her version of it in a mall, at first I didn't know what it was, I was just like, wow someone has a really breathy voice. She pretty much screwed up the whole thing.

Oh, man! I love that song (the original one)! <3 I first heard it on an '90s episode of A Different World and loved it. Never really thought of it as a "Christmas song", though.

Oh. Well, I guess it's more like a winter song for me, since the only time it's at all cold outside (and by cold, I mean like 50 degrees) is during the winter. I live in Orange County, where it doesn't snow, has hailed 3 times in my life, and temperatures under 70 send us shivering off to put on our jackets.
