I got a kick out of Spain's entry before they had to take the "politics" out of it. And I think Ireland pretty much gave up, huh? Sad that they weren't last.

Yeah, it's a bit weird, if someone comes first dosent necessarily mean they sing well; not with the way this competition. I mean, look, Ireland gave the UK quite a lot of points there, and it's more of a 'voting-for-neighbours' politics party than anything else now. :(

Now?
It always was.

I couldn't even be bothered to listen to Terry Wogans drunken rants this year, he didn't really seem to care anymore.

True, true. And boy was he cutting it close sometimes, with the smartly rude comments. I mean, did you hear him just before the Portugal entry in the finals? He was like, "Oh, by the way, it's not over when this lady sings." playing on the saying, "It's over when the fat lady sings." I mean, sheesh.

Oh he so was not cutting it fine. It was like he felt like he'd been gagged. Poor Terry :(

Iceland & Latvia were robbed.

Nope, didn't hear much at all, even missed the Greek entry, which was apparently very nice.
