Edit by Marissa: Yanked this out of Last Watched Anime since it was getting off-topic. Please be mindful of spoilers, and remember, FMA is an English licensed series.

I KNOW! I was sort of thinking "is this after Christianity has been lost in time?" I guess I was close to the truth, though I'm not sure on the lost religion they talked about.

Anything's Possible. (Especially in Anime. :P)

Also, about Envy being Hohenheim's son...I'm not thinking he actually has a "mother", but that he was Hohenheim's first project. :-/ Unless Envy himself possesses the knowledge how to connect his soul to the philosopher's stone, I think he's man-made.

A thread such as this was bound to be made.

What do I think of FMA?

It's a great anime series, and I recommend it to anime fans who haven't seen it. The story gets more engaging with the passing of each episode, and you may soon find yourself hooked. Check it out as soon as possible. Or even better, right now. Yeah.

I heard it's going to air on Adult Swim programming in the future. The future probably being some time in spring of next year, but I'm obviously not sure.

I'm pretty sure FMA will be starting in the fall along with Ghost in the Shell and Read or Die. At least...that's what I heard. And I can't wait! ^-^

Fullmetal Alchemist will be on Adult Swim in October. In November, it will follow Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

It's too bad the series is going to end soon. But all good things must come to an end.

You go and search for the word Christ and stuff dontcha :P

Not particulaly difficult to happen, no Christians = No Christianity, though I wanna know what happend to screw up the world this time...the flashback showed a rather dark gloomy day in the past so whatever happened had happened already. Probably Alchemy happened...

Small font...

Izumi mentioned that Hohenheim's letter to Dante was written 400 years before their time during the witch hunts were at their peak. That's around the late 1600's on the Christian caldendar. That would mean that their current year on the Christian calendar is in the mid 2000's or close to 2100. Using their calendar, their year is 1914.

Unless you saw episode 46, you won't know.

Of course I saw episode 46 blast it. This is what we've been talking about, I'm stating that even though the letter states it was four hundred years ago, it doesn't say the state to start off with plus since it isnt the birth of christ dating system we cant be sure. The only hint are *spoilers* The weird Victorian 1700's underground city...except theres a bloody elevator to get to it...

Wow it was rather amusing looking at small texts.
It's going to be on Cartoon Network o.O

I think it's so cool :D Although really, I have to admit the manga is better (not that I've read all of it) 'cause the anime changed most of it except for Hugh's death.

Hm, I need to get epi 46, *needs to watch it*

*meow spoliers*
I felt really sorry for Wrath >.< He was just a kid ya know and Envy made him eat whatever those were...(philosopher's stone? well I'm no expert on it. I just watch and enjoy it. *pouts*) And I feel sorry for Izumi! Eee...lost organs.
