I just read this really cool book by Vivian Vende Velde or... whatever her name is. I got it for my birthday from Sir_Isaac here on PPT, and it's so neat.

Not gonna say anything here-- don't want to give stuff away, but I reccomend it to all Fantasy lovers.

It was fantastic. Brilliant exploration of alternate universes, nicely wicked social commentary, and pretty good fantasy too.

I just wonder what kind of purpose it serves that most people give it to Sister Mary Ursula? She doesn't have any physical or magical power and no one listens to her.

Do what you will; but I will hinder it if I may.
