I know...I dug up a couple of oldduns. Don't kick me (please). 
It is a good series to fill in between other better series coming out. They get a bit better as they go along to. I have a couple like that. Charlie Bone is another filler series.
Has anyone noticed all the parallels in between the Septimus Heap series and Harry Potter?
