Yay for Sherlock Holmes! I've been meaning to read some of the stories again :)

I just finished The Farseekers, the second book of the Obernewtyn series by Isobelle Carmody. I've been enjoying these so much! (more than I can remember enjoying a book in a long time) It's about some young people who've developed various special "talents" (eg. mind reading, talking to animals)... though it's hard to sum it up in one sentence!

The Horus Heresy: Galaxy in flames.
(Book 3 of an ongoing series set in the Warhammer Universe)

I knew it was coming.
I knew it would happen shortly after they were introduced.
I knew it was coming before the series even began.
But still, the betrayal is absolute and shocking.

Brother Astartes against brother Astartes.

Just finished The Best American Nonrequired Reading (2006). It was so, so amazing and now I want to check out more stories from about half of the authors. The essay about "loosing God" was amazing, as well as the short story about the Body Worlds exhibit.

I just got done with The Introvert Advantage. My mom sent it to me because I'm doing a speech on why "it's ok to be an introvert." The book had some good points and it was pretty well written. It's a pretty good overview of the whole introvert/extrovert thing.

I'm reading To Kill a Mockingbird. My stepdad knows the author and really wants me to read it...even though in two years we'll be reading it in school.

Almost done with Tomorrow, When the War Began bu John Marsden.

I don't understand what is with me, I've been totally obsessed with war/disaster YA books lately. How I Live Now, Life As We Knew It, and now this. oO

Eats, Shoots & Leaves, by Lynne Truss. Rereading it actually. It's a good book. About punctuation. Yup. It's written really well though, and is really funny. I recommend everyone check it out.

I'm also reading Montana 1948 for english class. It's... eh. I dunno. Not horrible, but not anything amazing.
