Btw, who's Laura Mallory?

My first guess would be that she's someone who is publicly against harry potter, possibly because it "promotes witchcraft".

I lol'd at the news. But seriously... it makes so much sense, Jo Rowling should have revealed it ages ago!
I'm also happy about the Neville/Hannah marriage, since at least we know for sure that Hannah survived. Now, if only she told us about everyone else too...

Re: Laura Mallory. If you look up Laura Mallory on wiki, you get redirected to "Religious debates over the Harry Potter series" :P
So far she's tried to have the books banned by her children's school board (because they promote "evil themes, witchcraft, demonic activity, murder, evil blood sacrifice"), has been rejected, appealed to the County School Board and been unanimously rejected, appealed to the Georgia State Board of Education and got rejected again, then appealed to Gwinnett Superior Court, and guess what, she got rejected.
Highlights from the Laura Mallory paragraphs include the following quotes:
Mallory also commented that she has not read the book series partially because "they're really very long and I have four kids. I've put a lot of work into what I've studied and read. I think it would be hypocritical for me to read all the books, honestly."

She was aptly named Idiot of the Year in 2006.

Dumbledore is gay and was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald!

That's hillarious :roflol:
"Oh, my god," Rowling concluded with a laugh, "the fan fiction".

That pretty much sums it up :)
The Neville/Hannah ship is sweet, but I'll always be a Snape/Lily person at heart :)...though Bella/Voldy fanfictions would be interesting! :roflol:

Oh I agree!
When I heard about this I was writing infront of the tv with a glass of milk and Sky News blaring in the background of my tunnel visioned mind. I then heard them say something about harry potter and dumbeldore being gay, I kid you not, milk came out of my nose and spewed all over four days worth of writing.
I was laughing my head off to the fact that they would announce Dumbeldore being gay on the news, but soon I was seriously annoyed at myself for messing up all my work :x

Ah well at least it shows that newtons laws of physics are still working :D

Judging by the interview it strikes me that she's just trying to arse them off.
Which makes her just as Pathetic as they are.

*Goes back to Fulgrim, where the Bad guys are REALLY bad and the good guys are pretty bad too come to think of it*
None of this black and white morality nonsense.

Which begs the question.
Is the only reason He wasn't expelled because of the Prophecy?

I think it is.
"Oh look. You just flew a FLYING CAR ACROSS THE COUNTRY!.... Go to your rooms with no Tea"

Well, he was also as good as a bodyguard when Voldemort came around. "Hmm. On the one hand, you crashed a flying car into a tree. On the other, you seem to be pretty good at defeating insanely powerful dark wizards, who seem to crop up at least once a year around here. Well, don't go hitting any more trees, okay?"

There was something else that really bothered me, and I was all ready to march on a crusade about how it was such an embaressingly stupid plot point that Rowling should be forever stricken from the literary world but I can't remember it now...

It was REALLY bad, you understand.

I'd put money on the guys and dolls here totally being able to cripple this stupid plot point :P

My class at school were all laughing about the "Dumbledore is Gay" thing because someone did a character study on his and in the "15 words to describe the person" section she put gay as one.

I'm so sad that HP is over. I love all the new fan fiction though.

Am I the only person who loathed
Hannah/Neville? I was rooting for Luna, frankly, and HANNAH AND NEVILLE DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK TO EACHOTHER AFASGDGS!11!!.

In response to Fidds...

I know alot of people weren't happy about it, but I can see why she did it. Luna and Neville are both outsiders, but they're so diffrent it wouldn't have ever worked. I still wish it could've been them, but that's what fan fiction is for.

And maybe they did talk, we just don't know about it? But I agree she didn't have to use ANOTHER Hogwarts/Hogwarts same year couple.
