Dance Dance Dance by Haruki Murakami.

Haven't been reading anything in a while, but Murakami is really all that I've read lately. I haven't gotten any other suggestions, so I'm just keeping up with that. (Not that he's bad. On the contrary, I'd recommend any of his stuff to you. :P )

Narrative of the Life or Fredrick Douglass

It's a school assigned book but I like it very well! The book itself smells bad though. If you were to put it up to your nose, you would immediately begin coughing. :(

On a Murakami break for a bit.
Haven't seen the movie, because I assume the book is always better.

South of the Border, West of the Sun by, you guessed it, Haruki Murakami.

I always loved that ending. It was definitely the tiger, imo. =P

Just another one of those books you happen to pick up whilst strolling though Barnes & Noble.

John Locke's Second Treatise of Government, for a class. In one sentence, I counted 22 commas and 3 colons. It was half a page long. Someone shoot me.

Magical Thinking by Augusten Burroughs.

Its the 3rd book I've read by him. He's a fantastic memoir writer (he wrote Running With Scissors) and I seem to hang out every word the man writes. He's just a God in the world of paperbacks!

I must by his other 2 books!

I just started Brother Odd by Dean Koontz. It's the third book in his "Odd Thomas" series.

Went through Mort, The Colour Of Magic, Soul Music and Maskerade this week - all By Terry Pratchet of course.

Oh, and book seven in the Horus Heresy series; Legion

Quote:
Why?' shrieked Namatjira. 'Why are you doing this?'
'For the Emperor' said Alpharius, and pulled the trigger.

Out of context that means nothing, but WHOAH.

Got The Hogfather in the Mail.

I just started "I Am America (And So Can You)" by Stephen Colbert earlier this week. So far, it is amazingly hilarious

Badly-written History textbooks and slightly-better-written Biology textbooks. :P
