Despite being English it has to be coffee because it gives you that kick that you sometimes need to start your day.

Coffeecoffeecoffeecoffeecoffee. Plain, no cream, with maybe some sugar if I'm feeling daring.

None of that Venti nonfat double mocha macchiato halfcaf with whipped soy topping on the side. If god wanted coffee to be whipped, creamed, steamed, partially-decaffeinated, and served in a cup with a clear plastic lid, then He would have had cows grow on coffee plants. That would look pretty funny, but serve to make me feel better about adulterating my coffee.

By the way, what's up with McDonalds adding the cream and sugar for you in your coffee now? Has anyone else noticed this? I went through the drivethrough the other morning to get my normal Mickey-Ds breakfast (egg and cheese biscuit, hash browns, coffee, and a big serving of guilt for not eating the perfectly good Golden Grahams (trademark, copyright, service mark, registered property of some multinational corporation)). Anyway, I place my order, and I say, "Can I get a coffee with two packets of sugar?" and the woman tells me "no, but we can put two packets worth of sugar in the coffee." Apparently I'm too stupid to manage my own food now.

That's ridiculous; it's a huge relief if a customer wants to make the coffee themselves rather than have us quickly do it, especially if there is a rush in Drive-Thru.

The women apparently doesn't know the rules, because I'm sure you're allowed to give the packages to the customers. I can't imagine what the Drive-Thru times of that store must be.

And if no one understands me, that's okay, because it's really a McDonalds rant in general.

I guess not. It's good to know McDonalds still lets me manage my coffee affairs if I ask the right people.

All of a sudden I want those hashbrowns. Argh!

Hot chocolate is the best, followed by peppermint-licorice tea. I've tried coffee, but it's just bleh.

But Chai Lattés are infinitely better. 8)

Definitely chai. Second would be honey-water, which is just two or three teaspoons of honey added to hot water. A friend gave it to me once when I was sick and it was the most awesome thing ever, so drinking it always reminds me of that.
