I loved reading/being read James Stevenson's "Monty" and "Will You Please Feed Our Cat" when I was little. Today, I'll sometimes stop for a breather and read a copy I come across when cleaning up my room.

I listen to almost only classic rock. New stuff is usually either too synthetic or *shudder* country.

I dunno that many others are out there, but I love their music. I was introduced through Guitar Hero 5, which some people seem to be bothered by, but I tend to think that it doesn't matter how you find a new favorite. Speaking of favorites, why not let's add those on?

The first time I heard it, I thought Queen's "Ogre Battle" was at least inspired by the Helm's Deep battle in one of the LOTR books. Another of their songs, "The Prophets Song" has a few lines that almost rephrase a paragraph of another LOTR book. I'll try to get the specifics soon.
