House on Mango Street was probably the worst book I have ever had the misfortune to read. And we spent MONTHS studying it!

Wow, I'm really behind. I read Magyk and Flyte, and now I have to dash off to get the other ones.

My only problem with the book is that it just seemed that the author was trying too hard to make the names sound magical (or Magykal, as the case may be).

Book 1: Approx 40
Book 2: Only 23. My least favorite book.
Book 3: 35
Book 4: I've lost count. More than 50.
Book 5: 31
Book 6: 24
Book 7: 27
