Re: Windows 7 Beta available as free download today

Not intended, but at least I tried...

Currently the virtual harddisk is using 6.59Gb (viewed from outside VMWare Fusion), with Avast installed and fully updated. There are a few issues with running Windows 7 in VMWare (namely the WinEI, which is tied to Aero effects and the games), but otherwise ...

Re: Windows 7 Beta available as free download today

Em... no. ^^

Wine is used for running Windows applications only. Simply say, Wine is already considered a Windows system by itself.

If you do not wish to partition your system, then another alternative will be using "VMware Workstation" to install Windows 7. It'll cost though...

Re: Firefox doesn't allow me to click *anything*

Firefox 2 reaches EOL on Dec 2008, so Firefox 3 has been active for around 7 months.

Pardona, you can continue to use Firefox 2. But Siniri had mentioned, any security holes found will not be fix by the Mozilla team. They have also disabled the plushing detection.

You may want to try out Firefox 3 ...

Re: Firefox doesn't allow me to click *anything*

Seems like this is a strange and extremely rare problem, especially it's only affecting Firefox only. Currently the only (almost) similar entry that I found is this . This particular user is using Windows XP 64-bit system, but no solution. Nothing was found on the Mozilla Bugzilla yet either.

You ...

Re: Firefox doesn't allow me to click *anything*

There are two other things you can try:

- One is to create a new profile for Firefox and check if it has the same problem. Refer to this: m

- Two, if you have any software(s) which is link to the internet browser one way or the other (ie. Firewall, antivirus, parental control, etc), try disabling ...

Re: Firefox doesn't allow me to click *anything*

Perhaps we try restoring Firefox back to default first.

Start up Firefox in safe mode (Windows: Start > All Programs > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)). When a safe mode option dialog opens, choose:

- Disable all add-ons
- Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults

Save and ...

Re: MSN Messenger for Mac Problems

It seems that this problem only affects Mac users, and on certain networks. In several cases, changing the router solves the problem.

Talking about Old Maraqua... I recall about deciding whether to buy the utility fishes sold in Old Maraqua (which I didn't in the end)

And something which I will never forget: Gigantic battle between Chiazilla and Mechazilla

Re: Old and/or Underrated Games

Theme Hospital is the best game ever.

I can recall connecting two computers using serial and played a multiplayer game of Theme Hospital. I was having fun shooting rats at my opponent hospital. At the end of the game, he mentioned that he noticed a rat disappeared from his screen, with a number ...

Re: Neopets won't log in on IE

I'm not able to test it on a Windows system yet, but I wonder if this is the case regarding neodaq.xls:
Note that this version adds the ability to enter your password to the sheet. This is strictly optional, but if entered will get around some problems with Neopets logging out IE if another browser ...
