I finally edited my first post on page one of this thread to include some of the new cheap, good weapons and remove some that are now overpriced or obsolete. If I forgot anything, let me know! I haven't been keeping up with the BD as well as I should lately.

Haha, it's been ages since I posted here. I've been training Alaskawolf, so here's an update: Alaskawolf (formerly #27) is now str 500, def 501, HP 575, for a total of 1576 (and rising).

And you might as well update my friend's pet, too... oryne's Dunsparce (formerly #24) is now str 525, def 130 ...

Well, I was irked that the Neo boards were down, but only because I came here specificially to update my weapon advice post (listing all useful, affordable BD weapons) and couldn't do it because the forums were hidden. I knew that I probably wouldn't remember to come back and update it tomorrow ...

This is, of course, a great guide. However, it's outdated. Nobody should use Slime Potion anymore (go with Greater Healing Scroll or Blue Scorchstone). Illusens Earth Potion is also completely useless now, as is Mud Mixture. Immense Rubber Axe of Doom and Attack Fork are also not worth buying now ...

I updated my first post on the first page to add some new cheap (but good) attackers like Unstable Slime and Battle Ready Pencil Box. I also updated some of the info, so any of the weapons listed in that post should be good to use if there's any battling in this new Sloth plot.

Plot prize shops never come down. I haven't spent any of my Tale of Woe points yet, and a friend still has a bunch of Lost Desert Plot points.

I'm so glad the cup is almost over for the year. I played a couple hours today and a couple yesterday, watching movies at the same time so I wouldn't get too bored. I'll end up a rank 11.
