I've noticed lately that I have no interest in anything going on in Neopets any more. Yeah.. Advent Calendar, the new plot.. none of it drags me to my keyboard anymore and onto Neopets.

I get the HUGE ad banner, still. I still would like to know why they can't just put it at the bottom of the page? I mean, they aren't being very nice to players by putting it up at the top. Yeah, it was nice of them to warn us, but can't they at least do that for us?

Hehe, that's another of the minor but suprisingly annoying disadvantages of Firefox. Even if you press enter it takes some time to respond, unlike the "jump to" function which responds almost instantaneously. Just switch to IE when you are restocking (but then you'll have to scroll more).

Avatar aside.. I am not happy in the least. This is almost the last straw for me playing Neopets. I ran accross an ad that I simply could not block with Foxfire on one of the pages and now.. Forget it.
I had enough issues with the overly unbalanced yellow.. but to have a honking HUGE banner ad ...

I wish they would post some news of whats going on in the portal... considering that and the front page of neo are the only ones working...

Neo needs to get back to it's roots, and start listening to the players. Either that, or I fear the worst...what was once a small "pasttime" of dedicated players will become an "old fad" on the global opinion, and we'll all soon be typing in w to find no game, no fun, not even ads....
