Here's what I posted about the banner I'm using for one of the templates at my forum:
Quote:
I was thinking it was good, but the black edges and border put to the black background of the subBleak template made it look like it is of an irregular shape.

Here's the banner:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/ ... B_fade.png

I was wondering if anyone could fix this while maintaining it's appeal for a template with a dark, specifically black background. Perhaps a more apparent border would be all it takes, but one that's not too set apart.

I just put a dark brownish (picked it from a color in the banner) around your logo. It's still 300 by 100. I know, you can't really see it, but it does show as a 1 px border on a black background. Don't know if this is what you wanted.

First off, thanks. Anyways, it helps, but it's still barely visible (applied to the black background); one has to look up close to notice it.

If you want to see for yourself, I recommend using the test account I set up:
Username: test
Password: test

I've already put the test account on that template with the black background.

everconfused: I see your point about the Kryypy not looking right in the center. The other ones (KrytpicLogik on the stretched picture and Kryppy at the bottom center) I thinks are awesome. Thank you very muchly for making them for me. It is very nice for you to do that for me and it is appreciated.

Kryptic, just happy to help :)

Hyperion, I'm not sure what to do, I did take a look and you're right, it just doesn't really stand out. I tried this, staying with the brown, but this is a little lighter and it is wider. Tried with some of the grey tones in the forum and it just looked awful. I am always hesitant to mess around too much with someone else's graphics:

I've currently lost all my picture programmes, so it'd be ever-lovely if someone could turn my bc entry into a ppt-sig size picture. i think it's like... 100x300 or something X'D I just know it's a bit big, and i don't know how to fix it in paint without pixelising it horribly.

Thank you so much in advance! I'm very jealous of y'alls' art skills :P

JellyMud, I'm very new at making sets, but I absolutely adore your picture, so I wanted to try it. Here's what I've come up with. Feel free to tell me if you don't like it or if you would like me to try something different.

*huggles* Thanks! *skips off to try load it onto her over-filled photo-bucket*

Yay! I'm glad you like it! You're the first person (other than me) to use something that I made! Thanks

I can make something for you if I have the chance. :) But, just so you know, paying for graphics or art is against PPT ToS and Neopets rules. It's called "comission", and is a freezeable/bannable offense. ;)

Happy Birthday to me....
Happy Birthday to me....
For my Birthday I'd like a Happy Birthday Set....
So can someone make one for me....?

I would just like a set to use for today (it is my Birthday) so it can have anything on it to do w/ birthdays, and I don't care how dumb of bad it looks. But if someone can just make me a quick set for me to use today, that would be awesome!!!

Thankies!
