Faerie Buzz, Faerie Pteri

I'm back again, kindasorta. I've missed this board and seeing people's art on here, even if the sheer number of other boards freaks me out.

First one's my faerie buzz, AutumnMoth, and the second one is the faerie pteri I'm trying to convince myself not to get

First one's done in Painter, second in Flash.

The Pteri is my favorite, he looks so content.

Eeeee, that Buzz is adoooorable! I love the littleness and cuteness of it. I want to poke it because it looks squooshy. X3 I also dig the softness of it. Man I used too many words with the -ness suffix.

The faerie pteri is also splendifferic. Everything is all crisp and smooth. Excellent shading. Though, I think it'd be cooler if the tail feathers were long like the Neo faerie pteri, and they like, swept under the pteri (for lack of better verb). But I still love it. :3

They're both very, very good.

Did you use two different methods to draw them? The Buzz seems to be more paint/pastel-y, and the Pteri seems to be more bold/Flash-y.

Great job.

Yep- the Buzz was done using a watercolour tool in Painter, so it was meant to be sort of flowy, while the Pteri in Flash is made up of vectors.

Awww! The buzz is ultra cute. I love the flowy texture to little teeny bits. So adorable.
