Ratchet and Clank: Old Skool By: Sir Michael

Ka Boom! Bang! Bolt 1 ran around, making sound effects with his lips. It looked like he was trying to fly. He ran in circles, pretending to be a spaceship. He yelled, “Eat this Drek! 2” and made some laser sounds. Ka Boom! “Bolt dear, please come inside, it’s getting dark out.” Bolt’s mother said.

“Fine…” Bolt sighed and rolled his eyes.

Bolt’s Mother smiled, and then noticed that Bolt was a little covered in dirt, “Bolt! You’re so dirty! What were you doing!?”

“I was battling Drek!” Bolt strikes a heroic pose, “I am Ratchet, the Greatest Hero of all time! The Saviour of Two Galaxies and the greatest Lombax of all time!”

“rright…” said Bolt’s sister exiting the house, she rolled her eyes, “besides, you’re not as cute. 3” she stared into the sky, dreamily.

Bolt stuck his tongue out and sneered. “Bolt, come inside now!” His mother said sharply, she walked into the house, and when she was not looking, Bolt passed his sister and he kicked her right in the shin, she jumped and snarled, “You’re so annoying!” She ran at him, arms outstretched, but he just jumped out of the way, his sister spun around on her heels and ran at him again, but he darted out of reach again, and again, and again. Finally she collapsed to the ground in exhaustion. Bolt just giggled and ran inside.

That was just one of the interesting stories Bolt told us about his childhood, but that was just a sort of introduction, compared to the story I’m about to tell you. It is how Clank and I saved the Galaxies again… sorry, Clank, Bolt and I saved the galaxies.

It all happened when Bolt was 15, and he got his Omniwrench 30,000 4. This was his best present ever. He could finally be like Ratchet, but he couldn’t wait to next year either, then he would get his Robot companion, he would name him… Clang 5.





1-Sorry, I forget to be descriptive. A Lombax is a lion-like creature, it has no mane, big ears, we are lion coloured, we also have big round green eyes… yes all of us do, unless we wear contacts. We also have a lion-like tail and are feet are lion paws, but not our hands. Bolt was very young then, so he was short and his fur was very soft and fluffy. Oh, and believe or not, our worst disease is hair-loss.

2-Drek… just one of many enemies we defeated. He was short and brown and was like a business man. Except, he wanted to create a new planet because his was over-populated, oh, and he did that by taking huge chunks of planets and letting the rest of the planet just fall out of orbit and fall into the sun.

3-Too true… I am defiantly cute.

4-I only have a 9 000, but, my time was way before his. Oh, and an Omniwrench is a wrench, but also a weapon too, we use it to beat up on aliens and other hostile creatures.

5-Bolt and Clang wow… Bolt was so creative… oh wait, can you tell if that’s sarcasm?
