Some old art

Wed Feb 02, 2005 10:58 pm

I was looking through a folder that I don't remember seeing on my computer and found some things that I've completely forgotten about. I decided to post them here since they are doing nothing rotting away on my hard drive. ^_^ I did these before this school year started.

Basically it's a Zafara knight in a distinct style I wanted to try. Anyone who can guess what the style and pose is from get's a cookie. XD

Before the time that I realized I had Adobe Photoshop on disc, there was Microsoft Paint. This was the original version before I started Photoshopping it:

This one is an altered version that I did when I first started using Photoshop (decided to post both since this one is more difficult to see). I was messing around with Lens Flare and I blended... er... smudged the colours together. I kind of went crazy on it. XD

Just wanted to get these out there, but comments (good or bad) are always welcome. :)

It's pretty cool!^^* Very well done^^*

The shine on the sword in the second one seems quite bright, but it does add to the effect...*ponders* in all, really well drawn, I like it a lot!!^__^

Thanks! ^_^

Thank to you as well AFI. ;)

It's not my usual style, but I thought it would be fun to try it out for once. It's actually in the style of Final Fantasy Tactics (the most overlooked game of the series :)), hence the reason for it's apparent flatness.

Oooo, spiffy Darigan Zafara. I love those little guys. I guess I don't know where the pose and whatnot is from, so no cookie for me. *snaps fingers* I like the Photoshop-ed one better, even if it is a little difficult to see. It makes you look longer to see more details and gives off this "Ooo, something dramatic is about to happen" feel. :) Great job!
