The Crystal of the Golden Dragon
By known to be WaterbenderZeen
Whether you believe it or not, dragons exist. They live below us, waiting to be awakened.
3,000 years ago, dragons reigned the Earth. Somehow, they dies out before us. Only one egg survived, it’s golden shine soon to be buried in the Earth of today.
The thought-to-be-crystal-egg lies in a museum, covered in golden sheen. It’s worth millions, possibly billions, and has the tightest security in the museum. Nobody could steal it, or so they thought.
When the museum closed, one man was left, unseen. In a black jumpsuit he ran from shadow to shadow with cat-like agility.
He took the crystal, gently placing the glass back on. In a blink of an eye, he vanished out of the museum, leaving a trail of golden sparkle behind. As he ran out, his hands suddenly emptied.
Rimu, a policeman, was scouting for a thief. The museum called him to look for the golden valuable.
As he walked closer to the museum, he saw its magnificent sheen. As the thief was peering the other direction, it was snatched from the thief’s hands.
The thief felt his shirt being pulled away.
“I said if you did this again, Kogan, there would be an opening for you in jail. Now there is.”
Kogan felt defeated.
The policeman looked at the cracked egg. “You broke it!”
Kagan looked at the beauty and saw a glow. It broke into a million, tiny, itty-bitty pieces. A slithering serpent-like creature came out, flapping its marvelous yellow wings. The wind knocked over the two people, sending them unconscious.
Just before the knockout, Rimu said, “Not again!”
For this was the second awakening of The Crystal of the Golden Dragon.
A/N Just for all to know, this below is part two. I have combined them.
Just at that time, millions of other soaring mystical creatures opened their eyes from the dead, like a switch flipping all other switches. All but four, possibly five, were dull, almost lifeless and gray. Those few were Melissa, Mark, Ryan, and Zeena, the leaders of the others. Zeena had unlocked the other dragons.
A/N Those names are from classmates who wanted to be in the story, except for Zeena of course.
After an hour of flight, she met up with Melissa on an island over the Pacific Ocean.
Melissa smiled. “What a coincidence,: she laughed.
“Never mind that, we need to fine the others!”
They rose into the air and flew off, their gold and black tails swishing.
They found Mark and Ryan discussing the creatures on their land.
“These creatures must be taken down!” Mark bellowed.
Ryan stomped his emerald green foot. “Yes, Mark, I rightfully agree.”
The two colorful dragons landed on another island with the two angry serpent-like creatures.
Not even a bit surprised, Mark turned to the calm females and said, “You want to get rid of these creatures like we tried before?”
“Of course, and this time we won’t get killed.”
Mark’s ruby red body readied for flight. “If we’re going to do this, lets get it over with.”
Riku looked out at the dark blue sea. He had gotten out of the hospital a day ago, after his week’s stay.
“Dragons, not real then,” he sighed. “Real know.”
He saw a faint flying creature in the distance.
He came back with a giant slab of meat. The creature came closer, breathing fire.
“Lets get them! Burn them!”
They swooped in as Riku bravely stood there, and he threw the humongous piece of meat to their mouths.
They stopped and wondered the possibility of letting the humans live.
“If they give us meat, we give them peace,” Melissa figured.
The dragons came closer, their wing flaps shortening.
Riku noticed they were calming. His hesitant facial features softened. He had befriended them.
“It’s okay, come on,” he waved for the dragons to come closer.
“He seems friendly,” whispered Zeena.
“They....don’t want to hurt us,” said Ryan, his emerald tail swishing.
They touched
The ground and stood as still as a statue. The human walked closer, the dragons flinching.
Riku touched a ruby colored dragon, and seeing it did not hurt him, he touched the others, the deep red mystical creature looking at him, staring deep into his blue eyes.
A purple and blue dragon flew down, soaring majestically. She was a new dragon, who had leadership, too. No one knew her name.
“Humans” I’ve heard about them. They’re friendly,” she explained as she managed a greeting roar at Riku.
These creatures lived in perfect harmony with humans from then on, helping them with their needs.
“Zeena, could you do the laundry?” Riku asked as he got an irritated look from her.

It's a cool story, but I just wanted to add that I don't really think the names are right for MYSTICAL stories... as my friend would say, 'Trust me, I [insert whatever she does here], and I know that [insert whatever I did wrong that time'.

I know, but I couldn't think of any other mystical names...
