Display your creative spirit here in the Pink Poogle Toy Gallery. It can be art... it can be music... it can be a poem (even haiku)... but most of it... it must be you.

Untitled poem

I wrote this on my way home from school today, and then finished it up at home. It had to be editied a bit so I could post it here though.

I watch one foot
Pink
Following the other
Black
Sneakers
Avoiding the snails
Brought around by
the afternoon rain
And broken shells
Of the ones who didn't make
The trip across the sidewalk
And 'there's a fine fine line'
plays in my ears
I wonder how you are
Where I'm going
In five years
If you'll be there
If my name plays through your head
As much as yours does in mine
If a two-feet barrier
Should be required
Around me
But as I avoid the snails
Broken shells
and 'there's a fine fine line'
plays in my head
And I'm hoping for rain
I know that at the end of the hill
I will be
home-free

That's wonderful! I really really like that. (Even though I prefer rhyming poems. I love Dr. Seuss. Which isn't really poetry anyways.)

Thanks! I'm *terrible* at rhyming, it always sounds so stupid when I try. (Dr. Seuss is awesome, though ;))
