Art Project (Tribal Chicken)

Okay, so my art teacher assigned a project- do research on an artist, show examples of their work, and make a project like they would. I chose to do mine on our very own ahoteinrun, focused mainly on her tribal animals. And so I present to you my tribal chicken, modeled by my toilet seat (the best light is in the bathroom).
It's not realistic, and it isn't really supposed to be. Visual arts have never really been my thing, and this is really the first real piece of art I've ever done besides random scribbles. Comments, critiques, etc. very welcome.
Of course, all credit for the idea goes to ahoteinrun. I did the artwork, she inspired it.

Well, I think if you tried some different designs, instead of a constant patteren, it would look more... tribal-ish.
That's just my opinion.
Its pretty good, I like the eye, it looks cool.

Ooo thats hot. 
It reminds me of a stuffed animal, I can even see its wing. And everyone has to start somewhere, I remember my first drawings..
