I felt like posting my drawings in here, they're not as good as most of the drawings I've seen on this site but hey at least I tried lol if they're too big I'll just post the links. As you might notice Ruki's are my favourite neopet. I plan on making a guild of a ruki rock band, kind of like fansite site for an imaginary band where each ruki of the band has a customised personality and I'll update it with photos of the band 'on the road' and 'rolling stones' magazine covers, photoshoots all that stuff. People can become fans, roadies, groupies and what not too but I don't have the time to organise it right now hehe

Ok here's my first one, I entered it on my old account and it won 3rd place in the beauty contest. It's of Sypro_Spyro the lead guitarist and singer...

I haven't entered this one into the beauty contest yet, it's also of Sypro_Spyro...

And this is the drummer *__pyromanic__* the drum kit has two bass drums cause I love bands like underoath and from autumn to ashes and I want my 'band' to be a 'heavy metal' band like them lol

Feel free to comment and any pointers you have about improvements to my drawings, I'm happy to take on board.

Wow! Your pictures are amazing! I'm not a big fan of rukis, but your art makes them look great! Keep up the fantastic work!

Thanks! Yeah I can see how ruki's are an aquired taste, they're not as cute as some of the other neopets but I find them fun to draw.

Your pictures are AWESOME!

I have a Ruki myself and am teeeeerrible at drawing them (which is why I hope to change her to a Gelert soon) but your pictures make drawing them look simple!

I love the motion and energy you've captured in the last two pictures, and hope to see more band pics soon!

Haha thanks everyone for the nice comments, I'm going to customise my pet lookups then I was thinking of maybe doing a ruki animation on flash. I have too many ideas in my head and not enough time to do them lol

I'm so excited, I just logged onto neopets and was like 'why have I got an extra 10 000np?' then I checked the news feature and my ruki drawing was put into the art gallery!!

Congratulations!!! I checked the news on Neo and was like *eyes narrow* I recognise that picture. Then I was like... WOAH! :lol:

And have you really only been on Neo for 2 months?!!

lol, yeah only 2 months with my rockstardom account, I did have another account no_friendz_nikki that I made ages ago but never used so I gave it to my little cousin. Then a couple of months ago I was bored and remembered neopets, made a new account and have become obsessed since hehe.

yeah, they are really good. im an artist too so i HAVE to use constructive criticism for everthings sooooo... hmm, maybe smoother edges? or thicker edges... maybe.... but its good the way it is

Since when did artists have to use constructive criticism for everything?

I think his style is very well formed and developed!

Ok I'll post some of my non-neopet drawings

First we have an Avril Lavigne drawing

I drew that in like august 2003, so I would've been 15. Before my musical tastes started to develop lol.
Next we have a drawing of my brother

Drawn in 2004
Thirdly is a drawing of a not well-known musician Evan Taubenfeld, drawn in 2005 I think

And lastly I drawing of a cat for my nanna, drawn early this year.
