Some (celebrity) drawings

Wed Nov 15, 2006 8:01 pm

Well, since I'm sort of back (?) here at PPT I figured I could post some of the drawings I made a while ago.

Image and Image

Click on the pics to go to their DeviantArt page to see a larger version. Currently I'm working on another drawing, this time featuring Naima Mora and Tyra Banks, but it might take a while to finish.

And yes, I know, I simply can't draw hair. Yet :P

Those are amazingly beautiful; the hair is barely a problem although, in the second image, it does stand out but in all honesty, it's so beautiful that no one would notice.

Amazing job!

Wow. Those are... absolutely... fantastic! I'm having a difficult time believing that those aren't photos- guess I'll just have to take your word on that, because I honestly can't tell.

Seriously, they're that awesome.

Oh, and despite what you suggest, the hair is incredible.

While both pictures are completely amazing, that Sweet Scarlett picture is.... well beyond incredible. That's about as realistic as you can get! I love that picture... I mean, not just for the fact that "it looks real!" but also the artistic perspective... I mean, its much more than just a picture of a person... she posted, and gives you a VERY strong feeling of character.

I seriously mean it when I say, If you dont persue this field as a career, I will be deeply saddened. The world needs to see this out there. Its... simply stunning. I could give postive critiques about EVERYTHING on that picture.... but I'd find it extremely hard and I would have to be quite picky to find something wrong with it.... even after studying the eyes, the hair movement, the shading.... It's all perfect and incredible! Nice work!!

A huuuuge thank you to everyone for the positive critique!

The Wonder Weezel - I've never really thought of myself as a particularly good or outstanding artist, so I haven't considered a career as one. Nevertheless I'm not rulig out any possibilities just yet, since I have no clue of what I want from life at this stage. We'll have to see what happens :P
