Grey Faerie Realistic Render

Sun Nov 21, 2004 12:13 pm

Ow... 6 hours to render this picture. o.0; I used a photo reference and the offical Grey faerie pictures for the color pallete.

Full sized image can be found here: http://www.deviantart.com/view/12493842/

I'm entering this one into the Art Contest... maybe it might get in? o.0;

This is the Neopets submission size.

Let me know what you guys think. I might be trying to render Illusen or Jhdura next.

It should definately be accepted-you did submit it, right? I especially like the text and font.

I submitted it at about 2 minutes before I posted it on here. ^^

The face looks a bit human-like, but that's all I have to say. Faeries tend to look human-like anyhow. ;) Nice picture! :D

It's beautiful! I really like her hair. I'm sure it'll get in. Good work! :)

Oooh, wow, very nice work!^_^ I like the hair^^* Teehee *poke* I hope you get in!

Hehe... I hope that you send it in. I don't know if you can get in with it though. Neopets has the habit of taking mediocre work over a really nice picture like that.

Great job with the realism. ^^

It's beautiful!

Niiiice. I really like the expression on her face, just because it's part bored, part sad and part interested in whatever's going on. Good work, I hope it gets in. If it doesn't don't even sweat it, because a lot of excellent pictures don't get in because TNT never uses the good one. They don't want to make their artwork look worse than someone else's. :P

I'm glad people like this. ^^ I'm still teaching myself how to render these types of pictures with my tablet. I'm hoping to not have to get this quality of a render by always having to use a photo reference. ^^;
