I've never entered anything into the gallery on Neopets, but I already had the base image of the Aisha laying around.

The original is something I made a long time ago, I looked at it and realized it was kind of rough, and I really didn't like the background. So I got rid of the background, touched it up, and added the tears, which I'd forgotten on the original. Then added the new background, and submitted it.
