I was hoping I could have made the art galllery with ths, but I guess neo missed it.

they are both really nice.

i like the new years one alot! its better than most of the others they chose, maybe you missed the deadline.

the BC one is also good, the fly is really cute!

Wow, they're both very nice, are they drawn with colored pencils?
The shading on the baloon is very cool

Yes they are colored pencil. I pushed the shading on the balloon and the rukis by photoshop.

I might have missed the deadline. I worked on it hoping to submit it by Thursday night, but it took me until 5 am Friday to finish it. I submitted it around 5:30-6:00 Friday. It probably would have been like 3 am in their time standards.

I love the balloon one. It looks as if The Ruki is made of clay. Super cute. And the beauty contest one is bound to win something. Awesome, the shading is wonderful!

Both pictures remind me of that movie A Bugs Life

. But they're both gorgeous, I don't see why the first one didn't make it in (it's better than some entries that did make it in <_<)

Edit: I don't like comments about bugs life and my art. It upsets me, because I think Disney stole my style. I started drawing my insects this way since the end of 1995-1996. The sad thing was that I had to share my art with all kinds of strangers being only a 5th and 6th grader at the time.

People used to say how origional my style was until that movie. I wish I had actual proof that disney stole from me so I could sue them. The movies have ruined my life, my future :cry:
