Well this is technically art from the school year, but meh. I'm still working on the other stuff (camps been busy) that I said i'd do in the Workshop... no fear, i'm alive, it's being done... just a couple more weeks and it shall be revealed.
Until then though...
A portrait of a native American Dancer who came to my drawing class. Done in micron pen. Some detail lost during the photo/scan (can't remember which I did with this picture).
My elk print. Only one survived the relief process. It's a double print... I did the blue print back first (it's all from the same print block) and then I had to cut away and print the black on top. Meep. I spent maybe 20 dollars on paper alone for this sucker... and it's quite large. It was hellish to create. But I love it.
Some Easter Island Moai. This was one of my profs favorite prints... he quite liked it. I quite like it. *pets it* They're wandering. Mwaha. It's an intaligio print. I hate intaligio prints. It's why I won't continue with printmaking... too much annoying process. Relief all the way! woo!
Evisceration is a sign of respect.
