Some stuff I made back when I did alot of graphics arts stuff. What I am doing is called vectoring, where you take a picture and pretty much just trace over it and fill in blobs of color and hopefully by the end it will look somewhat like the original picture.
Some selected works... From oldest to newest (i think):
Back when I had a crappy computer monitor... the colors were darker than all the other computer monitors people used... hence why the purple is a bit too light
One of my absolute favorites.
Was a big hit back when I still did webdesign. Was used on one of my most popular layouts on my old site.
Was a temp. layout on my old site then later I recycled it for an lj layout.
Was used on a layout featuring Rammstein's song Sonne (sun in german). Features the lovely Adriana Lima. The light source was coming from the left, hence why the sunglasses are lighter on the left than on the right.
Again, back when I had the crappy monitor. Hence why the lip color is messed up.
I WAS working on this:
but I got lazy and never finished it... perhaps I shall finish it someday. It WAS originally a picture of Monica Belluci... I however altered the colors (her eyes are brown and her skin tone is alot tanner).
Haven't really made anything in a longgg time... The last completed work was made a year ago... I got burnt out on graphic arts and webdesign stuff. Maybe I'll get back into it someday. I'm too lazy though... on average, a single vector takes me 6-8 hours. :-\
