Dmytro grinned with a flash of craziness in his eyes, "We will now have the Necromanctic ceremony, canidates, please step forward." impulsively he jumped off the stage and onto the main floor, and stood by a large and horribly black flame. He spoke with an ageless and quiet voice, somewhat dark and extremely mysterious, "Will the canidates for the Necromantic Arts please step forward."

Spike gulped loudly and stood up, slowly and cautiously approaching his headmaster and the flame, hoping others would stand up as well.

Andre followed Gaia into the Chamber of Elements, "Going rather well." he muttered to her happily, with a cheerful grin on his face. Mentally he prepared himself for another first years lecture, he had to do something to this effect every year. Andre was a man with a lot to think (and worry) about.

(I hope it isn't to late for me to join.)

Name: Sessha
Age: 18
Species: Werewolf (Went into shapeshifting of course)
Year (if applicable): 6
School: Kalakov Academy
Description: Nothing short of scruffy. His black hair reaches his knees and fluffs out in unruly tufts every which way. Two black wolf ears are perched atop his head, one of which looks as though something took a bite out of it. The other ear is adorned with a gold hoop earing. He has a set of claws and fangs and a furry black wolf tail. His eyes are the color of fresh blood. He wears the traditional black robes of the academy.
Other: Despite the dark atmosphere which surrounds him, Sessha is a carefree, happy-go-lucky teenager. He is always finding ways to make people laugh or at least crack a smile. But he hides a few dark secrets behind that cheerful grin.

(Keep Away From Runaround Sue)

(Roleplay time)

Kalakov Academy

Sessha couldn't sit still, squirming in his seat beside the infamous Meiou. Unlike the other students, Sessha wasn't affraid of the anthro rabbit. He was always so excited to be back at the academy. This year he planned on entering the tournament. His tail was wagging wildly behind him, his ears paying rapt attention to all that was being said. It didn't surprise him in the least when the headmaster appeared as an eleven year old. He had grown accustomed to the man's eratic changes in age.

"Yes! The ceremony's finally started!" he squeaked.

Gaia smiled carefree as usual when they went into the chamber. She looked to Andre. "Yes they are. Remember when I came in here on my first year? I was so nervous that when I did finally choose a gem I dropped it and nearly broke it. " She laughed softly. "I think thats when mother started to enchant them to make sure that didnt happen again."

Cassie nervously got up following after her father and the headmistress into the chamber nervous as ever. Her father had awaited this day for many years. Her mother was a little saddend she was leaving but happy that at least she would be in good hands knowing that Andre was going to be there to look after her.

Luna smirked watching him go down by the candle. She always loved watching those who would go into Necromancy figure out what they were gonna give up for it.

Meiou gazed towards the candle then back at Sessha one of the others that had gone shapeshifting. Sessha wasnt too bad at least he could relate to pain of loosing something. He had been around when Sessha lost that bit of his ear.

Leila:
Leila quickly looked at her feet and wiggled the 9 reamaining toes that she had "Well fellas decide amongst yourselves who is gonna go this time. I'll be expecting an answer in oh about 4 to 5 minutes,so hurry up." she joked. She got up and started to follow Spike to the front of the room. ((don't remember if you said something about this but do 2nd years have to give up a part of them again?))

Syeria:
Syeria wasn't hungry so she imediatly went up to the ice element teacher.
((I can be a teacher if need be))

Andre smiled at his daughter, and put a warm and callused hand on her shoulder. "It's good to see you finally made it here." he led Cassie, and all of the other Alphonse first years to a room of beautiful jewels, all various colors and all with a mysterious power.

Sessha glanced at Meiou, one of his ears swiveling in the rabbit's direction while the other continued to focus on the front of the room.

"Isn't it exciting Meiou?!" he asked, his tail wagging even faster than before.

"I just love the ceremony!"

(I'm interested in becoming the Spirit teacher at Alphonse Keep - I don't think anyone else has taken it?- but I'm not entirely sure what it does...)

When Kimber stepped into the room, she gave a small gasp. She became slightly dizzy; she wasn't used to seeing so many colors at once. She was used to seeing the mostly monotone colors of the desert; or the drab grey of the surrounding towns; or the pleasant green of all the fields. The closest she had ever come to a sight such as this was when she was in a bright garden, and a small butterfly had landed on her palm.

"Oh!" she exclaimed in surprise, looking around her with wide eyes.

Trystan squirmed in his chair as he watched the Necromancers step up. He felt uncomfortable all of a sudden, and he felt glad that he was not one of them. Perhaps it was just because he did not want to go up front -- at least; not as one of the first people -- but he didn't think it was that; he just didn't know what it was.

(alright. Basicly the way i see spirit magic is this, its the opposite of necromancy and by what im famailer with is all the elements rolled up into one. Now although its all the elements and it can be used to cast various types of elemental magic keep in mind that using them through spirit the element wouldnt be quite as strong. It also can be used as a healing magic or life magic as some may call it. Any other questions about it feel free to im me on messangers or drop me a pm or email.

(ugh. :smacks ppt around: Now then lets try posting again. It was gonna be ig might still if i can get around to it but to move things along.)

Gaia smiled to Andre. "Their in for a surprise. I was spooked out of my mind when i first did this."

As each student went towards their respective Elemental gem each was transported to a strange new area that had something to do with their element. Ex:Wood students would end up in a heavily wooded forest. Wind in the clouds, Time in a mechanical structure of sorts.

(Ok you can do this yourselves if you like. Basicly it will seem like hours or even longer to your charecter but upon finding the gem they will encounter their spirit guide of that element. It will be different for each element and i do have some ideas for this if you need them. Anyways sorry for no extravagent ceramony but i get distracted too easily by new games. Jus wanted to kick start things to get the rp moving again.)

Name: Leena
Age: 32
Species: Seraph
Year (if applicable): Spirit Teacher
School: Alphonse Keep
Description: Her eyes are a bright, clear blue - eager at taking in everything they can. Her hair, a light silverish-blonde, falls neatly down over her shoulders. Her wings are heavily feathered, and as a result of her chosen element, are never the same color every day. She is short and slender, graceful in appearance, but a clutz when it comes to anything else.
Other: She is slightly unorganized, but other than that, she is a fairly good teacher. This is her second year teaching at Alphonse Keep.

(Heh. I wanted something with wings, as that would be easy to have change, and then the book I'm reading at the moment provided something nice. =P)
------

Leena's wings shivered slightly in excitement - this was her favorite part of the year. Her wings were a light emerald at the moment, and she was glad - she thought it a nice, welcoming color.

Her eyes swept over each young first year coming forward, glancing at each face - studying them closely, wondering which ones would become her students. How many would choose the Spirit element?

Her mouth twitched slightly in amusement, reminded of her first year. She had been just like most of them - frightened, unsure of herself... wondering what would happen. She had remained that way well into her third year, as she found it hard to the strange place, bustling with so many people.

((I wanted to join when this started. But, I was too busy then. I still hope to add to the story. I would take up one teacher position, still looking at the students. I think three is a little much for me to take on. For starters. ))

Name:Rahne
Age:?
Species:Vampire
Year : teacher in demonsummoning
School:Kalakov Academy
Description:White long hair, pale nearly white skin, with blue eyes. Sharp nails, but all in all, he has a kind first appearance.
Other: Rahne certainly seemed to have a troubled past and re-occuring problems with other vampires. He isn't the strongest vampire around, and some might say, he looks for protection with the walls of the school. Yet, he has a knack for attracting troubles. So his outdoor classes are always 'exciting'. (Certainly when a rivalling vampire turns up.)

Keep Away From Runaround Sue

((I'm not sure about the students yet... Love the seraph idea.))

One of the side doors in the back of the great hallway swung open. Rahne peaked inside, leaning against the doorpost. Students were trotting on, metres from him. A quick glance to the podium was empty. Meaning, or the necromancy ceremony had already started or was about.

Trying to regain his composure, he dusted his coat off. Alas, some torns shreds weren't so easily repaired. His hair stuck out in all directions.

He needed to talk to the others. Damned ceremony.

Gulping he wondered if Luna or the Headmaster could read thoughts. He had always wondered with the Headmaster and now there was Luna too.

Like one wasn't enough.

Stepping forward, he did an attempt to reach the other teachers.

Mon Jan 16, 2006 10:29 pm

William laughed to himself as the poor first years went off to their first task, something he had been absolutely petrified of for weeks after the ceremony. After they had left, he was escorted back into his new Year 6 dorm. (As all of the other AK 2y+'s)

Victor raised a large arm and motioned towards another chamber, where all of the shapeshifting potentials would go. Xeno, excited, though very nervous, followed in anticipation.

Dmytro pointed towards the fire before him, once the rest of the dining hall had cleared out. Non Necromancers were not allowed to see the following proceedings, though the teachers were present to ensure nothing went amiss.

"Look carefully at yourself," he spoke very quietly, "You are useful, an individual, and asset to this school. Now that we have promised to give you a home and education, you now must give something to us."

As he spoke, his skin seemed to ripple and ebb in an odd magical way, it melted directly off of his face, revealing a half skeleton, half human face. Only his grin remained the same.

"Place your best foot (hbb: arm, eye, whatever)forward, so to speak, and enter the fire." the boy stepped in, and vanished.

Spike was almost on the brink of tears, usually he was quite calm, but this, this was a bit too much for him. He had just seen a face being melted for goodness' sake! If this what this place had in store for him, he wasn't quite sure if he wanted to stay.

Reluctantly, and concentrating on his arm, he stepped into the blue flame.

Searing pain instantly hit his left shoulder, making its way down to his fingers. It seemed to last for an eternity, he wasn't even aware that he was screaming. He heard others around him, but even their wails couldn't drown out the pain he was in. Looking down, he saw the flesh slowly dripping away, taking its damn time and leaving him with nothing but bone and pain.

Mon Jan 16, 2006 10:42 pm

Luna chuckled as most of the students were shocked at what Dmytro had jus done. "Now father your scaring them. Look at them shake becuase of this. Please do continue." She laughed softly and grinned darkly as her eyes shot over to Rhane as he slipped in. She raised a brow and looked back to Dmytro.

Tue Jan 17, 2006 11:03 am

With a stiff back, Rhane strode behind students that stood around Dmytro. None of them seemed to notice him. Not surprisable, since they were all entralled by the necromancer ritual.

A boy had stepped forward, Rhane slowed down a little. Unlike what many thought, most vampires did not like the sight of dead. After all, was there any other creature that went to higher lengths to avoid dead? His face grimaced, baring his fangs for a second or two.

He stopped behind Luna. Hesitating for a moment, Rhane stood still looking at the boy. The flames rose high, enlightening the room in some sort of grizzly fasion. Finally Rhane decided to wait not longer.

Leaning forward, close to her ear, he whispered, "there might be a.. problem."

((I suddenly realize Luna will probably whop him in the face for leaning so close to her neck. At least, I would do that, if a vampire did it.:D))

Tue Jan 17, 2006 11:40 pm

Luna reached back and grabbed the vamp by the collar of his coat pulling him in front of her before smacking him in the face. "Next time you might not get to keep your fangs. Now what the heck are you talking about?"

Meiou shook his head and got up heading off towards the dorms. He wondered how the ceramony would go this time.

Wed Jan 18, 2006 3:58 pm

Rhane stumbled a few steps back, surprised by the blow. He trembled in rage for a few seconds, but then smiled slightly, "I guess that will teach me to me not to underestimate you."

He didn't want to interrupt the ceremony by making too much noise, so he lowered his voice again, "there is something forming up outside. I stumbled across it by accident. I believe the school has gained some formidable enemies. At least, or the vampires around here took their side, or they destroyed them all."

Rhane raised an eyebrow, "something is amiss, I can just feel it. I just can't put the pieces tog.."

That night at the Othvard Gravyard had been particulary dark. But he had been asked to check some things up. Not expecting anything to be disturbed, he was unhappily surprised to find the grave of the Keeper of the other School was disturbed.

Alas, Rhane hadn't been able to report back, because he had been under constant attack.

A disturbing thought slipped in his mind, Rhane looked at Luna, his eyes slitted, "are you behind this?!"

((Tell me if I go too far. No intend of godmodding anything and I will edit.))
