Before I say anything else, yes, this IS based off the episode of Star Trek by the same name. But no Kirk, thank god XD
In the far future, a colony of humans on a small planet (Named Miri) were living quite happily, in an environment practically identical to that of Earth's. Some of the scientists were developing a sort of magic tonic- a medicine which would slow the aging process extremely so that every century aged a person only one month. But they were too greedy to check for the consequences, and the first batch of the tonic turned out wrong, horribly wrong. It produced a sort of virus which spread to every inhabitant of that planet, child and adult. The virus did nothing to hurt them at all- to the children. Yet it seemed everyone who went into puberty or was an adult was infected with a sort of plague, black-blue scabs appearing on their body.
In days the infected would become easily angered, attacking without provocation, and would lose any patience they had. Soon the adults began killing eachother. The children hid, frightened of what was happening to their parents and the other grown-ups. They did not see that those adults who were not killed by other adults developed a crust all over their face and died. Then the children were left alone.
The virus, however, did leave the desired trait of the immortality potion- and the children hardly aged at all. They began to act like wild creatures, forming into a tribe. There was still food, and they all had skills nesscessary to retrieve it... yet they still acted like small children.
Now the food is running out, after three hundred years. The children who reached puberty were transformed into monsters, which the kids fear, and do not know are kids a little older than some of them.
They have to figure out some sort of solution.
Bios not nesscessary but appreciated.
Bios:
Name:
Age: (Can be anywhere from 3 to whatever you think is a reasonable age for puberty)
Gender:
Appearance:
Personality:
History:

Name: Arina
Age: 9 (but wouldn't it be like...300? lol, but that's being technical)
Gender: female
Appearance: sharp blue eyes and short brown hair, pulled back into a little ponytail at the crown of her head, pale skin
Personality: fierce, energetic, serious
History: Her mother and father both died when she was aged around 4, and had no other siblings. She learned to live off the land out in the country where she lived, and built a shelter among the small houses in the village. She managed to survive living off scraps and the small amount of food she grew in her tiny garden.

Well... it's the age you appear, the age you were before the aging tonic thingy. XD
Name: Eowyn
Age: 7
Gender: Female
Appearance: See "Eowyn" in LOTR XD (I'm tired and too lazy to type much of a description right now
Personality: Has less of a mob mentality than many of the children. She's a very good fighter but tends to "isolate" herself often. However she enjoys the games immensely.
History: Her father was killed by men driven mad by the disease, and her mother died in her bed of the sickness. Since then she lived with most of the children, who reside in an old toy shop.
[[By the way- the term we have for adults is "grups", the term for excecution, killing, or occasionally knocking out someone is "bonk bonk", to be chanted as a sort of mob sentence. The term for before the adults died is the "older time". Most kids act somewhat as a mob.]]

Name: Amelia (was going to be Ariana, but found that to be too close to Drummer's name)
Age: (Can be anywhere from 3 to whatever you think is a reasonable age for puberty): 8
Gender: Female
Appearance: Shoulder length blonde hair, blue eyes. Not exactly slender, but not exactly plump, either- somewhere in the middle.
Personality: She's very intelligent and serious, which makes her have a mob-mind not as... mobbish... as others. She is very much like the other children in their mobbish ways, but she is not as irrational as some of them are.
History: Before her parents took the tonic, she and her mother and father lived happily in a small house. Education was valued very importantly in their home, which is why Amelia is intelligent for her age.
Tue Aug 10, 2004 7:56 pm
Name: Cara
Age: 13 (old, I know, but she's a late bloomer. XD )
Gender: female
Appearance: Tall for her age, with short, black hair tied back with a scrap of blue fabric. Has blue eyes, and a slender build turned scraggy by lack of food.
Personality: Since she was a small child, Cara had always been calm, quiet and resourceful, never breaking or straining under any sort of pressure. Even in the modern day, she refuses to join in any of the "mob" games, and lives on the outskirts of the city she once lived in.
History: Until the day her parents took the tonic, Cara led a well-off, happy life in the city center. Her mother was the first to go mad, and then her father, who died partly from grief for his wife. Cara's sisters (6,9) immediately went off to found and join some of the leading gangs.
(W00t! Angry raging mob RPs!)
