((Sorry, there was some family business I had to tie up. I'm back for good now.
))
Rystol walked slower and slower. She was so exhausted. The moon lit her way in the dark night as she trudged along. Her thoughts travelled back to the village and people she had left, wondering what they were doing now. Unknown to herself, Rystol slowly fell asleep while leaning against a stone pillar near the end of the bridge. She slumped lightly to the ground and dreamed of Brom, Willowfast, and the friends she had left behind.
Mar noticed the fallen woman and rose from the ground. He carefully strode over to her and examined the situation. He had met many creatures in his days of guarding the pass, but none had ever fallen asleep before completing their journey. He gazed at her and considered what he should do.
The earth elemental bent down softly and whispered in his deep voice, "What is your name so I can know if you must pass?"
"Rystol," the woman murmured in her sleep. The moonlight shown like copper on her chestnut hair as her head rested on her bags and she softly breathed in and out, oblivious to all around her.
Mar laughed quietly and tenderly lifted the woman into his arms. He gathered up her bags and carried them as well. The earth elemental knew that Ellamiel had been awaiting the arrival of this one and thought of the quickest way to the palace. He murmured a quick chant and absorbed Rystol within himself. His size expanded, so she seemed to be in a small, cozy space with velvety earth beneath and around her and warm moss covering her. Mar sunk into the ground and sped through the soil to the castle. He melded with the walls once reaching his destination and travelled through them to the new advisor's room. Once there, he chanted again and brought Rystol forth, carefully laying her on the bed, with her bags beside. After covering her with a blanket, he found his way to Ellamiel.
The earth elemental sensed that he had just missed her. The Goddess walked down the long staircase and was reaching the front gate as he left the Iseril advisor's bedchamber. He sped through the earth once more, coming up paces away from the Goddess who was watching the bridge. "I am sorry to disturb you, Ellamiel, but I have just brought the Iseril advisor to her chambers. She is very tired from her journey and sleeps still." He explained the situation to the attentive Goddess in his deep baritone.

In her room, Rystol mumbled in her sleep. She smiled and turned over. "Faster, Willowfast, faster! Come on, Brom, catch up!" She smiled again and snuggled deeper into the luxurious blankets.
