Rena bounced into his dorm, with a strained look on her face. It was so hard to stay out of his mind. She desperetly wanted to know what he thought of her, she wanted to get in his head so bad. But she wanted his trust as well, therefore she continued to block it out.

Sitting down on his bed (uninvited of course,) she looked up at him and asked, "ne? What do you mean by that?" His eyes pierced hers, they were so bright blue, they were almost mezmorizing. She was not startled by his appearance at all -purple hair and all- she knew he was just another male trying to be himself in a dorm full of followers.

(the ne was a typo on my part my o doesn't always work right. sorry it was supposed to be one)

"I'm not entirely sure. Would you like some tea?" He opened up his bag to pull out his tea kettle and made the flame floating around his head stop and float over to the desk. he sent the clay teapot to float over the flame after filing it with water and adding tea leaves to it. "It helps me control my power maybe it will help you. Oh and I'm sorry for earlier sometimes my anger gets the best of me."

"Sure I'll have some tea." said Rena, trying to relax. "It's I that should be apologizing right now. That is why I came. I can't help my powers... I don't get into people's minds on purpose."

Rena spoke slowly and quietly. It took a huge effort for her to not think his thoughts. "Listen Hevel, the reason why I look so stiff right now is because I am trying to block out your thoughts. It takes an enormous amount of effort to do so, but I really respect your privacy." She sighed, and took a big gult of tea.

She sputtered and sprayed the tea all over her pants and his bed, not realizing how hot the tea was. "I am so sorry!" She quickly stood up, running right into Hevel. "Oh goodness!" How embarrasing! She quickly tried to get away from his room.

"WAIT!" she had run off before he could say anything "man now I have to cleen up this mess oh well better go say it''s al right before she starts crying." he fallowed after her a chunk of hair that went down to his chin(about half a foot longer then the rest of his hair thats bleached blonde) fell in front of his right eye "Wait up, I'm not in good enough shape to be chasing after girls!" He yelled after her finally catching up to her just before she could reach her room "Don't worry about the spilled tea jazz happens." he leaned against the wall trying to catch his breath(which is ironic cause thats what his name means)

"Hevel, I am so sorry!" She looked him up and down- he seemed so tired.

"Wait here" Rena said, and she stole into her room. She quickly changed into a white cotton skirt and snatched some clean linens from her closet. She reapeared at the doorway and said, "I'll go change your sheets and take yours to get washed." Before he could say anything she ran back down the hallway to his room, and set about taking care of the mess she made.

"Oh my, now I have to be all thankful urgh these people make it hard to be cynical." He walked slowly to his room and tucked the blonde hair which had fallen from behind his ear back into place.
As he reached his door he saw her cleaning up and the voice of guilt panged in his head again, "help her clean up."
"But it's her mess" he complained, as he gave in and went over to help with the wet sheets.
"don't worry about um... I never caught your name?" he said to becky.

"Oh..." she said, "It's Rena."

He tried again to tell her not to worry about it but she finished with the sheets and walked back to the door. The two just stood there in a bit of an akward silence, and Rena looked at the wet sheets in her arms. After a moment, she said "I'll take these to be cleaned."

After a few more seconds of silence, she added "It was nice meeting you." She was about to turn and leave when she thought oh, I should keep talking to him. He seems so nice but she could not find any words to say. Embarassed, she just watched the ball of fire whizzing around his head.

"You can touch it if you like." He said, refferng to the fire but not sure if it was clear, when he noticed she was staring at it. "The fire that is," he stated as the ball started to make it's way over to Rena.

"What happened to you?! You're way nicer than you ussualy are." came a fourth voice.
"I don't know but she's way to nice to be mean to not to mention it's my first day and I already have enough enemies back home" He responded after a moments thought.

As the fire danced in front of her, Rena just watched in wonder, afraid to touch it.

So much for trying to make friends with Alex today... oh well I am having a better time with Hevel anyways. She didn't dare say anything out loud about it though, because she knew that Alex's ears would pick up even her whisper. She played with the fire creature for a few minutes, and talked to Hevel for almost and hour. Finally, she stood up to go. (She had been sitting cross-legged on the floor.) She stretched out her legs and said "You have been good company Hevel. I am friends with most here, but I feel like I know you more than anyone else here, even though I've been here for over a year and you just got here. Well, I'll talk to you sometime. Bye Hevel!" And with that she was gone, back to her own room ro relax after that long period of blocking out his thoughts. She lay on her bed, and immidiately fell asleep.

"Bye," He waved as she left his room, closed the door and flopped onto the bed tired out from all of the talking and laughing and making friends.
"Wow" said a cruel voice "you acctually think you made a friend ha, thats funny"
"oh shut up" he said to the voice aloud "no matter what your always down on me and I don't even care anymore so you can just go away."

Outside of his room he heard some noises of people walking past it. He almost completely filtered out the singing of Anika. He stood up and listened at the door. The noises were gone, but he still heard a few people talking. He was pretty bored and when he opened his door he heard a door close and the voices were gone.

He really should start knowing people a bit better. This wasn't really his greatest talent but he walked outside. Immediatly he felt a sudden fear, as if the walls started coming towards him. This was a part of his power... Every time he entered a new room, he got afraid for, apparently, no reason. Relax... he said to himself and looked straight ahead of himself. He walked slowly to room 2-11. The person he heard a few moments earlier, seemed like a good person to start with. He exhaled and inhaled and got relaxed again. When he was younger, his parents didn't know what to do with him, as he kept on crying, now however, he managed to control it.

He knocked at the door (ofcourse, not using his real hands).

He yawned and heard a knock at the door.
"Who's there?" he called as he opened his door and saw one of the other kids there. "Oh," He yawned "Hi there, I'm Hevel whats your name?"

"I'm Joseph" he said silently, while looking at the not-yet-awake face of this Hevel person. "I just though it would be... uh... a good idea to get to know the other people... Say, who were you talking to a few minutes ago? I though I heard voices?" He looked inside the room of the kid. If only my room looked as tidy as this one... Joseph thought.

"ummmm, that was, um... OH YEAH! Rena" he repeats the name again silently reaffirming it in his mind. "Nice to meet you Joseph, please come in if you want there isn't a whole lot of places to sit I'm new and I have yet to make this room a little more homey." The Flame flickered back to life after it's own short slumber.

Anika having not noticed her, Irina was about to walk out of their bedroom with her books when she heard voices outside which she didn't recognise. Not particularly wanting to talk to anyone new at that minute, she closed her eyes, and felt herself become invisible. Treading as softly as possible, she edged past them, hoping that she wouldn't knock into one of them by accident.
