Meious eyes shot open though they seemed to of lost some of the light in them and he seemed very pale. One might look at him an think he was deathly ill and theyd likely be correct. "S-S-S-So C-C-C-Cold." Mandora had poisoned the deepest sanctum of his heart with her darkness which mixed with what he had there already and began to eat away at him. She was trying to bring him to her side but his will was trying to fight her but wasnt having too much luck.

((Nah, don't worry, its not.))

Rosa didn't know why, but she seemed to like the sound of this excursion, she also liked the sound of the word. Like a infant, she played with it, saying it over,
"Excursion, excursion, oh, huh? Ah, yes."
And she jumped forward, like an eager child, to follow Aquila, already her young and naive nature showing like a flower that shows its petals as it is warmed by the sun, just like she was warming to Nondra.

Kithe sighed, gripping her staff lightly. "Alias, I do not know what to do. I know Screal will do his job, and well, too, but I also feel that I must follow. And yet, I do not want to..."

She sighed in frustration, angry at the mixed feelings inside of her. She was sure that every one must have them, at one point or another, but surely not as often as her!

Alias gently placed her hand on Kithe's shoulder and smiled.

"We all feel confused sometimes. You may choose to remain here but I will go and follow Screal. If you want to come, you may come," Alias explained.

For the first time in Nondra Alias helped someone else besides herself. She was very dependant on Ellamiel and now Alias felt as if that dependance has disappeared and it's given her a new feeling, a new life.

Alias removed her hand from Kithe's shoulder and slowly walked down the marble steps on the right side of her. She began to walk towards the forest in which Screal flew into.

Phalan was baffled. There wasn't anything he could do for the advisor. While there was a force to be fought here, he could not win this battle with his claws. This seemed like a job for a healer, but Ellamiel had said that only Phalan could help Meiou. And if Ellamiel truly was a goddess, why couldn't she simply destroy Mandora?

The dragon quickly banished the blasphemous thought from his mind. It was not for him to question the goddess, but he could not think of anyway to help Meiou by himself. There was only one thing to do. Phalan scooped Meiou carefully into the palm of his claw and lifted off, heading back to the palace.

Ellamiel sat herself down on a bench in the courtyard and sighed deeply. She was well aware of that many of those who she had told to stay at the castle had now run off.

"How am I ever supposed to get this group unified?" she asked and looked up to the skies.

On the other hand Ellamiel knew that it wasn't time for anything like that just yet, getting all of this into them at just one hit must have been hard for each and everyone of them, now they just had to get the chance to breathe out.

Suddenly she saw a large figure approaching the castle, it was Phalan no doubt, and Ellamiel was sure of that Meiou was with him. She snapped back into concentration and was fully prepared to guide Phalan and help him to bring back Meiou from the state he was in.

(I could have sworn I already responded to this post, I must have forgotten to click on submit :roflol: )

Arianna apologized for not properly introducing herself. "We are heading back to the castle the others are waiting for us at the courtyard." We must hurry we are being followed I sense both good and evil. Never fear for the rightious will prevail. "

As they started on their way Arianna realized that Lar must be hungry it had been a long journey and they still had a long way to go. "I saw some ripe berries just off the path a ways up if you are hungry."

After a second or two, Kithe caught up with Alias. "Empress," she said, "She went around the forest, not through it. That will most likely be the way she will be returning, as well."

When Screal flew after Arianna, he followed his Mistress's order. When he saw danger, although he did not want to send a picture, he simply sent an order. For one thing, it wouldn't be as noticeable, and for another, it would not let her know he was there. And she would have the choice of following his order, or not.

When Arianna stopped, because she had found Lar, he roosted in a tree, watching them with his piercing gaze. When they once more started to leave, he followed.

(Chipper, I hope that's okay. If its not, then just ignore it.)

"Nope, I brought some bread, so I'm not hungry. Would it be alright if we rested for a minute, I've been flying as fast as I can to get here and I'll a little tired." Lar responded. He flew up and sat on a tree branch for a few minutes, then continued on their journey to the castle.
When they approached the castle, Lar stared in awe. The place seemed to have a mystical glow. It was the most beautiful building Lar had ever seen. The word "building" didn't seem fit for such and extrodinary place. Not only was the castle itself beautiful, but it was perfectly framed by the willows surrounding it.
After several moments of admiration, the two headed inside the castle.

Aquila walked up the path and looked at Ellamiel, who looked rather tired after having to deal with Mandora so often. She walked up to her and placed a hand gently on her shoulder. "I'd be glad to help you if you need me. After all, Rosa and I are to learn how to help you and be half-godesses. We might as well start right away."

Sat Oct 09, 2004 4:25 am

Alias turned to face Kithe, she smiled and said, "What's the fun in going around the forest? Let's do some exploring. Nondra is protected from Mandora therefore there's nothing to fear," replied Alias who was suprised at her sudden excitement of the mysterious forest which lied up ahead.

She turned back to face the forest and began walking. There was a very soft breeze blowing ever so gently and began to play with Alias' hair. Alias loved the feeling of the wind, she felt so at peace. Which now was a very big thing for her.

Sat Oct 09, 2004 6:10 pm

Mandora? Who's that? Kithe thought, but didn't say anything.

"Alright. You will have to warn me of things that will be able to triop me--my staff cannot find all dangers." she said, and followed after Alias.

As the breeze came by her, a fleeting thought came through Kithe's mind. Was the Rhe? No... it couldn't have been. She's with Ellamiel... right?

Ellamiel smiled at Aquila as she approached her with Rosa and spoke to Ellamiel.

"Thank you Aquila, it comforts me knowing you and Rosa are up for the challenge." she said.

She had never gotten a clear picture of Rosa, sometimes she seemed to be very nervous and jumpy, other times she seemed perfectly calm and happy. Ellamiel was sure though that she would make a good half-goddess, just as Aquila.

Ellamiel looked around to see who were left at the castle. Lydia was standing a bit away, seeming rather confused about the situation. Her advisor, Rystol was standing by her and talking to her. As Ellamiel had noticed earlier Phalan was on his way towards the courtyard with Meiou. The remaining four were not in sight; Ellamiel hoped that they were all okay.

Lydia snapped back into reality as she realized Rystol was talking to her. She had been dreaming about her parent and her life back at home and how things would be if she wouldn't have gotten summoned.

"Oh.. I'm sorry... I feel... um, a bit confused." she said turning her head around.

"I think it would be good if we got to know each other better, after all, we are expected to work together for quite a while." she continued with a smile.

"Sure," replied Alias as she continued to walk towards the deep forest.

'I wonder what's inside?' she asked herself as she stepped on a small patch of dirt.

Alias stopped and looked behind her to see if Kithe was following. She seemed to be a nice person, she was going to make a wonderful advisor.

Rystol smiled at Lydia's response and walked with her outside towards where Ellamiel sat. "That sounds like a wonderful idea. Are you originally from Iseril? I come from Elil." She leaned against the banister on the marble stairs outside and tipped her head back to drink in the warm sunshine. She looked into the distance and continued, "My family had lived in Elil for generations and were often advisors to the rulers there. They were nobility but still chose to live with the public. Sometimes they were prejudiced against because of their heredity." After mentioning this, Rystol paused and shook her head slightly, shaking away any bad memories from this beautiful day.

"Many generations ago, there was a fire elemental in our family tree and some of its powers have filtered down through the ages. Some people were afraid of us because of this. When the rulers were overthrown, my family were driven from Elil and found refuge in Iséril. There, I found a rich vitality in the land that I had not known in my birth country." Rystol stretched out her hand and a graceful butterfly flew over and landed on it. She smiled gently and the butterfly lifted and continued on its way. "I dove into my adopted country and studied the flora and fauna around myself with vigor."

The woman turned to Lydia with an amazed look in her amber eyes. "There was life in Elil, but nothing like I have seen outside. Everywhere you look the earth teems with living beings. The flora is so vibrantly colored, the creatures so gentle, even when they are fierce. It amazes me, the life even here on Nondra. I know everyplace has its downfalls, but I have not seen any here yet. This is like a paradise I have never imagined." She nodded to Ellamiel. "I hope I can do good by her and by you and learn to advise my country well. There is such promise in everything here."

Rystol smiled. "So, how about you, Lydia? What is your family background?"
