There was, of course, Butterbur. His role powers were actually the ones regarding picking up/tracking SPs on alternating days. We still wanted to use the powers somehow, so they got incorporated into the roles of Eomer and Eowyn. (Spoils of War and Gossip)

The other casualty was the Witch-King, who would've been a fourth member of the Sauron's Command team. His personal power was to be a daykill, but that was transfered to Saruman, who did not originally have one. (Staff of Power)
We were going to feature him if anyone took their ring sig *off* after receiving their SP, etc, as part of the shield loss they would've received as punishment for removing the sig.

Here's their original roles, before their powers were redistributed to Eomer, Eowyn, and Saruman.
Butterbur
Alignment: Innocent
Win condition: All evil teams defeated.

You don't think much past the next day, as it's not really needed. After all, with a bar and inn to keep, you're more worried about your customer's wants and needs. You think you have the best beer around - and you very well might be right in this. Your friends include Gandalf and Strider, though you came to be quite surprised by the true nature of Strider's being.

Role Powers
Blessed Spirits: Every EVEN night you will receive one SP that was used during the day as long as at least one SP was used during the day or night. You may use the SP you receive at any time, but you may only use one SP you receive through this power during a day/night cycle. This is an automatic power.
Prancing Pony: Every ODD night you may track a player and see what SP he or she uses, should the player use an SP that night. To do this, send a PM with "WW36 - Prancing Pony - Day X" and a list of five players. If the topmost living player on that list uses a SP, you will find out what it was.

Shield: %
Lists are required on odd nights.

--------

Witch-King
Alignment: Sauron’s Command (Evil)
Win condition: All other teams defeated.
Team Members:xxxx-Sauron (Spokesperson)
xxxx-Saruman
xxxx-Grima
you-Witch King

You were the king of kings when you received one of the Nine rings given to the kings of men. Unfortunately, you fell into Sauron's trap, and have now become his most deadly servant. No man can kill you, and your mere presence instills fear into all who are nearby.

Role Powers
Mount Doom: Every night, the spokesperson from your team must send a PM with a list of five people to target. The topmost living player on the list will be attacked during the night by lava. To use this power, send a PM with the title "WW36 – Mount Doom – Night X. "

Personal Power
Nazgul: Once per game you may submit a PM with the subject "WW36 – Nazgul – Day X" that includes a list of five players. The topmost living player on the list will be attacked during the day as soon as the PM is received.

Shield: %
Daily lists not required.
