For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

This is so much more interesting than studying for my last midterm, but I have to go back to doing that soon... :(

Anyway, I'm glad we won the challenge and good job to o_0. Guess we don't get to vote you off this time after all. :P But it is hard to decide who to pick... meh.

I'm really sorry for missing out on giving you my word yeterday guys, I thought I was going to be in all night but then I had to leave kinda suddenly and I couldn't get to the internet. I'm glad we won anyway :)

Qanda enters the quite tribal council area. "I expect you all are eagerly anticipating the results of the tribal council. Without further ado, I'll go tally the votes."

First vote: Raze
"She's been very inactive, only posting once since the last tribal council. She also didn't help out with the reward challenge much, and didn't appear to have submitted her word for the immunity challenge. Whatever the reason for this, in the team events we really can't afford to have inactive people, since we're against the other team."

Second vote: Stephanie
"She's been unactive for this round and also probably didn't send her word to the people gathering the words."

Third vote: Zega
"I believe that out of all the posters, she has posted the least, other than Matt, who had a reason. Also, she has not really contributed to the team."

Fourth vote: Raze
"Once again no certain reason for voting just need a name. No hard feelings towards you."

Fifth vote: Blik Mage
"He hasn't been the most active member, so I thought I'd just vote for the same person as last time, for consistency, ye know?"

Sixth vote: Zega
"He/she isn't too active. At least not that I can see."

Seventh vote: Zega
"I'm sorry, but it seems that you have been the least active and least helpful of all (other than Matt, but he has an excuse)."

Eighth vote: Raze
"It was a really tough choice, but she's one of the less active ones..."

Ninth vote: Stephanie
"She doesn't seem to participate much in discussions or say a lot about the tasks set."

Tenth vote: Stephanie
"From what I can tell, you haven't been that active throughout the game, so far."

Eleventh vote: Stephanie
"I have to vote for someone. I'm choosing from the people that I think haven't been very active. Out of those people, I'm casting my vote for Stephanie."

"With four votes, Stephanie has received the most votes. Raze and Zega barely escaped with 3 votes each. Please bring me your torch, Stephanie."

The second person voted out of Valentia is Stephanie.

Reward challenge: Set-making competition

Now's the time to put your set making skills to the test... today's immunity challenge involves making sets for me. :P

Details:

1) Each tribe can submit up to 5 sets (avatar + signature), posted on the game thread by the maker. All submissions must be original.

2) The sets are for me, so they should have my name (Qanda) on it.

3) No themes or suggestions are given. You've got to find your own pictures and create your own subtexts which you think I'd like.

4) I will choose one set which I feel is the best, and the tribe of that set maker will win the reward challenge. Therefore, the more sets you submit the higher chance you have of winning.

5) In addition to winning the reward challenge (this one gives 5 Reward Points), I will award the winning set maker with a token 25,000 neopoints for his/her efforts.

6) You have 48 hours to complete this challenge, starting from the time of this post.

ADDIT: BTW, you all can post more than 5 avatars here, and put them up for discussion and critique. Just make sure that you post which 5 you want to enter for judging by the end of the time limit.

Immunity Challenge - Mutual Puzzling

This weeks immunity challenge will be rather different. This time, your tribe will set the immunity challenge for the other tribe - in the form of a puzzle/conundrum.

Guidelines:

1) The puzzle/conundrum should not be more than 300 words long and should have an accurate and objective answer which can be arrived at logically.

2) Discuss among yourselves what puzzle you wish to set.

3) One person from the tribe should send me the chosen puzzle (together with full, substantiated solution) within 24 hours of this post. The puzzle must be approved by me first.

4) You may send in more than one puzzle. If you choose to do so, I will arbitrarily choose the most challenging one to be used to for the other tribe's immunity challenge. Please do not send in more than 3 though, conduct the selection test yourselves first.

5) The opposing team will have 24 hours to solve your puzzle. The first tribe which solves the other tribe's puzzle/conundrum first, wins immunity.

 Why me? I stink at making sets, I only have MS paint. :P However, I relish the idea of making a conundrum, it reminds me of my Mole-running days. :D

Obviously, not everyone can make sets, so whoever feels up to it should probably just make one. As for the conundrum, I suggest that whoever wants to work on one/submit an idea should probably do it via PM. You can either PM your idea to everyone, or send in your ideas to me, which I will then send out to everyone for their approval. Keep in mind, that since I'm in EST time zone, as of this writing I only have 14 hours to participate. I know I don't have to be the one to send in the puzzle, but I'd still like to see the final result before I go to sleep. ;)

This puzzle thing should be fun... but yeah, it may be slightly tricky. o_O

As for sets... well. I could attempt, but I'd much rather try to draw than make graphics... ah well, can't hurt, can it? Though I think Qanda's just using us so he can get a new set... :P

Mon Jan 31, 2005 3:54 pm

I should try to make a set...:P But let's get Alex over here first. xD

Hmm...conundrums....I'm not so good at making them.

My set making skills consists of ms paint so i don't think that would really work out, i'm ok with conundrums thought atleast i think.

Edit: This is how good i am with Paint be amazed.

Good no?

Yippee!! Made my own crappy sig/av set, just for the fun of it. :P I know, it's not that great, but MS Paint wasn't exactly helpful. ;)

*Edit* I'm just thinking: Since I will be asleep when time runs out on the challenge, do we want to appoint someone to send in whichever challenges we choose, or would you rather just send them in once most of the team decides on the three best challenges?
