PPT BTY?

I thought it might be cool to have a "Better Than You" competition here at the forums, since the high scores needed to win the competition on Neo are usually insanely high.
As far as prizes go, I'd be willing to shell out the money for them, but we need to decide on a "Winner" cap right off.
I was thinking the prizes could be issued as follows:
1-5? The gold trophy winners. A small graphic could be made to show that you won the competition. Also, they receive the item prize.
6-10? Silver trophy winners. They receive the item prize.
11-15? Bronze Trophy Winners. They receive the item as well.
(These numbers are quite flexible, I just used much smaller groupings because we have far fewer users than neo)

I know most of you wouldn't lie to anyone, but i'd prefer if screenshots were taken of the score. If not, we can wait until the score is saved in Neo's Database and you can simply use the "My Scores" Page.

Lastly, members are completely free to post idea about which games (and scores for them) should be in the next BTY.


P.S- All members who complete the challenge and are below the lower cutoff, I will still send something to. Most likely a codestone or two.
Everyone deserves to be rewarded for their effort.

I'd prefer it if the scores were achieved after the challenge was announced.
Like I said, we can decide on a score for a game that isn't Mind-Numbingly hard to get, but not a total "Gimme".

Exactly. They were so much better back then.
It would be nice to have a competition where you don't have to break your wrists to win.

I will do my best to get some of the more popular games in the competition first. (We can refer to the BTY topic in Neopets Polls. )

Hmm this sounds similar to a contest I had in my guild once. Basically, we chose a game, and instead of seeing who could beat a certain score, it was to see who could get the highest score during the week, ala High Score tables only shorter.

Oh, and regardless of how we decide to do this, I'm in.

Well, since we have some people who want to play now, I wanted to know if it was ok to set up a poll for the BTY competition. We can decide what game should be chosen, and everyone can help decide what the score should be.
