PPT Survivor: Commentary

Sun Feb 13, 2005 2:46 pm

All those voted out or not in the game may post their comments here. Players still in the game may not.

I delayed creating this thread because I didn't want old tribe members giving hints to their tribemates after getting voted out. Now that the tribes are merged, this should not be a problem. ;)

Well, I'm out... There hadn't been much activity on the thread, and I must have missed it, and when I came back to PPT, it was marked unread... huh... Good luck to everyone else though!

Well I have my bets down for winner, lets see how it holds up :)

Ooh, finally, a commentary thread. Looks like it's slowed down a little with less people, but it's a really good group now. Good luck, a few of the questions for that challenge are pretty tough and it seems the tasks are getting creative... nice new name, too. :)

Oh, and for future reference, while it's nice of you to remember me, I'm not a he. :P

Yay for commentries :)

*cracks up* I don't envy you guys... that immunity challenge looks evil!

The tribal jury may also post here discussing the game and who they think should win.

*comments* I'm still jury, right? :P

Hahash. :P

*thinks of something to say*

Oh yeah. I'm surprised I lasted this long..kinda. xD I expected to get much earlier, as the challenges aren't err...my type. :P

*hides back into cave*

I'm kind of bumping this up, since I'd like to see more people outside the game take an interest.

Congrats, o_0, on winning that challenge. I'm thinking you either guessed the phrase based upon what your word was, or you managed to get a few words from other people. ;)

'I've been bamboozled!'

No seriously though, I totally understand why I was voted out. From early on, I knew that I was going to sacrifice myself so that a member of Hakunamatata could win, and they just needed a strong leader. I stepped into that position, and it cost me the game unfortunately.

I know betrayal, backstabbing, and lies is part of the game, but I can tell exactly who each vote is from and one in particular is quite . . . well just, yeah.

No hard feelings though. Go Hakunamatata, I knew o_0 getting immunity would be the death of me, this was not a huge shock.

EDIT: Oh and Qanda, I did a game exactly like the current dagger one on my PPT Survivor. Copier XD. Just kidding.

Let's wait for the next challenge... I'm really looking forward to it!

Trust me, I never really looked at your game (because I didn't want to risk stealing any of your ideas :P), even though I know you posted the link to it somewhere. Great minds really do think alike sometimes. ;)

And I recognise your quote by Richard Hatch. Legendary Survivor player. :)

Surprisingly only 3 people (not counting hellyer) submitted jokes for the Immunity Challenge, given its simplicity. Here they are:

Joke 1 wrote:An Englishman, Irishman and Scotsman walked into a bar. "Is this some kind of a joke," said the barman.

Joke 2 wrote:What did the momma dung beetle call her baby?
Her little sweetie-poo!

Joke 3 wrote:A plane crashed onto a deserted island. There were only five survivors.

When the search and rescue team reached them they found one lone survivor sitting with his back against a tree, munching on a bone.

The man called out to them in relief

"Thank goodness, I have been saved"

The rescue team were in shock, they were looking at the pile of bones next to the man. It was obvious that he had eaten the other survivors.

The man, seeing their horror tried to reason with them.

"You can't judge me for this, I had to survive. It was the only way!"

One of the rescue team stepped forward, shaking his head.

"We don't judge you for doing what was necessary to survive. But for goodness sake your plane only went down this morning!"

Voting Guidelines

Anyone not currently in the game can vote for your favourite joke. This includes players who have been eliminated (you can vote too). Just post on this thread which joke you like the best.

If there is a tie, I will make the final choice.

After 24 hours voting will be closed and I will tally the results to see who wins immunity.
