Ok the marker thing on PPT just went nuts on me and says i read this whole thread... which i didn't.

So if you have any questions directed at me AIM or PM me with that question to make answering it even faster.

Some other facts...

* We started out with 44 players. 4 WW, 3 Mafia1 (+1 conversion-- which wasn't used), 4 Mafia2 (ability to make treaty with Mafia1), 2 Zombies (+1 resurrection-conversion-- which was used just to resurrect an ex-zombie).
13 bad (+2 potential), 31 good.

* I obviously made some mistakes, but of course, these are things you can only learn from hindsight. I'll keep that into mind in the next one...

* Themed games? They'll come soon...

* Roles to suggest? Always appreciated. PM them to me (DO NOT WRITE THEM OUT PUBLICLY) if you would like to (possibly) see them in play!

1) What was the BEST part of this game? Finally killing someone with lightning! Err... well actually it was well run and in general entertaining but I can't think of a specific. o_o Oh, right, and the artpad thing was spiffy.

Resurrection and shields make it hard to kill people and kinda slow the game down... but it wasn't a big problem.

I think it was pretty cool, but I hurt the innocents more than I helped them (and they were ready to maul me over that wind thing. Oops.)

If I were one of them, I might say differently, but I'm not a huge fan of shields as they do slow things down. If there are shields though, those aren't terrible numbers, and the top players often deserve them.

But if they're there, mght as well include everything in shields, although they were originally intended to protect those that always got mauled the first day, so maybe not for executions. I dunno.

7) Extra Comments. Overall it was a fun game and very twisty. Great job running it since that is a lot of work and all... and don't make us wait too long for the next one.

Keep shields as they are great, day kills helps move the game fast(only if it is successful though.

Keep the SS on 60%, very fun. Resurrection is the best part if your a deadie and knowing that you can be revived at any time!

The fact that Meowthy died early on in the game. Almost every game she has played she has died early on... Oh, and when I said, 'Come with me when I die because I have no set date'... I didn't mean it seriously!

As I was dead by the time we figured out what it was, I really didn't pay much attention to it. I think it was okay, though.

Night protections and day kills, but NOT executions or Soul Steals.

I would like it if it was lowered down a bit... although fifty percent would be nice, I'd be fine with 60 percent. Dead should be able to participate and be resurrected!!! Seeing as I end up there by the time we decide to Soul Steal anyways... Seriously. Almost every single (Every single?) game we have soul stolen/tried to soul steal I was in the graveyard at that time. Ain't that fun?

Ishka is very happy you used the role she suggested and once she gets over her lazy streak will send in one she has had in mind for awhile now.

Lack of more baddies (especially one-player ones). I thought the game was a bit too easy... but that's probably because the zombies foolisly chose to help us kill off all our enemies (never a good tactic...)

Since I suggested this role, I would be inclined to say that it worked fine. The flag thingy created some extra suspense and confusion at the beginning.

I would be biased since my shield protected me once. Seriously though, I think it should be kept, especially considering that Kugetsu was targetted right on Night 1.

Include everything. Baddies are in more threat from execution anyway, and the extra shield is meant to help them stay alive longer. However an execution should damage a large part of their shield. As for day kills, they are a fairly common means of killing too, right? I don't see why they should be excluded from shield protection.

Yes, to both questions, of course. How can you not have resurrections? It is an integral part of the game. Soul steals are cool too, since they represent the fact that the dead can come back to haunt you...

~The artpad, of course, and most of the roles were great! I declare Werewolf the funnest game in existance! And I like the fact that there is a graveyard, so the dead people can continue to talk, whereas some games don't have that sort of thing.

I don't think I had any gripes. Although it was quite unfortunate that we lost many of our good players early on in the game, but I think that was just bad luck.

I like the soul steal percentage. The dead should have a chance to participate! It keeps the game interesting because everyone is still playing and plus, once you die, it would be kind of boring if you couldn't do anything else. They should have the chance to be resurected.

I really liked my role . and it was so much fun eating people every night. I also really liked the setting it took place in and the the chalkboard, because it helped keep track of who's alive and who's dead.

I'm with o_0. this kinda goes back to what I said, in the fact that you need to be a little more specific in your role sheets. if we had known we could convert, the game wold have probably played out differntly

yeah, when all the deadies are online at the same time (like during executions) they can just sit there and keep trying to SS the same person over and over and over until they finally succeed. so again, I'm gonna have to agree with o_0.

1) What was the BEST part of this game?
I particularly fancied Cae's role, it allowed a lot of kills of baddies to happen, especially when she was smart about it, convincing mafia and werewolves of eachother and then getting them to kill each other out was brilliant.

I also liked Stephanie's role, it was used well. She adapted the idea of getting someone to be a huge target for baddies, and then killed them off by using the watchmen power.

Shields slowed everything down, and it really took away from Executions, which are supposed to be the main way of killing people off. There were so many defensive roles that I felt like the actually occurences leighed more in support than innocense.

It was a good role, however, I don't feel it's use was readilly pronounced. It barely did anything throughout the game. If the effects of the elements were heavier, then I think it would of worked better.

if you're a good player, I don't see the need of a shield bonus. I do, however, think that 6 random shield increases would be more fitting. For example, if Matt had been playing, everyone knows he's a good player--No one would of went after him until the end(assuming he was an innocent) because they knew his shield was stronger.

Mix it up, it's more work, but it's also funner. No need to have full on shields. The Stronger roles should naturally possess weaker defenses.

Changing it to two soul steals sounds good, and putting them at like 60% each would be fun as well. Ressurrection would just drag the whole thing on.

I liked this game, it had a lot of deception and a lot of role manipulation as well. It's getting to the point where you're not just playing the game, you're playing each other. Making certain roles effects more pronounced would, in my opinion, make it more interesting, but balancing such things is never easy, kudos to you Scott, I couldn't do this if I tried.

It's really became, as networks now call reality TV..a "Human Drama"

I can say clearly that I wont be around for Werewolf 8, too much lying and backstabbing for me. Bonne Chance to you all and see you in 9!

Night, day and execution (doesn't an execution deal 100% to the shield, meaning the occurance is unlikely that someone would survive it anyway?). No soul steal protection though.

I'm fine with it, it's 65% right? (I forget...). Yes, the dead should be able to participate, I'm always there..
