PinkPT's Weekly Graphic Contest Week 1

PinkPT’s Weekly Graphic Competition

Since I don’t think I have the time to run a long contest with rounds and entrants, but I do want to run a contest, I’ve come up with the following competition.

Rules:
The rules are similar to that of PPTTG, I will post criteria for some sort of graphic and the entrants will make a graphic that fits. At the end of the submission period, I, and possibly other judges if they are willing, will evaluate the work and a winner will be declared. Now, here comes the main difference: As said in the title, this contest is weekly, there WON’T be eliminations, and there WON’T be signups. Post if you want to; skip the week if you don’t.

Timeline:
Monday: Post week’s challenge
Friday: Submissions due
Saturday: Top-3 of the week Declared
Sunday: Winner declared

Prizes:
I’ve been working around giving out neopoints, but my supply would dry up entirely too quickly, I only have about 180 thousand, and I don’t play anymore, so I cant really get more. So for now, the prize will be this:

+One custom set made by me, stating each week that you’ve won, if desired.
+Bragging rights

Without Fursther Adue:

This week's theme: Put Your Smile On (will still end on Friday)

You've been commitioned by a new memeber of PPT to make them a avatar/sig set. They have seen your work and love it, they we're very descriptive though when they filled out your form, this is all they gave you:

name: John Doe
image url: i dont know, something happy
colors: happy colors! but maybe if you want to use other colors...
anything else: I don't play neopets, so please no Neo-images.
THANX!!

they really haven't given you much to work with, but you still want to make them thier set, take whatever you see with thier request and run with it, but stay away from neopets images.

When you submit, please explain why you went in the direction you did.

Good Luck to you all

Since tomorrow is friday, does it end tomorrow? O_o;

Bumblebees and bright colors are OBVIOUSLY happy. :P Look! The bumblebee's smilin'!

possibly other judges if they are willing

I don't know if you're accepting Judge 'applications', but I'd love to judge if you're willing to accept one! :)

Since John Doe wasn't specific in what he wanted besides something happy, I went with the colors and images I first think of that are happy. **Yellows and oranges convey a warm feeling.**Smilies are inherently happy since they, well, smile.**Sunflowers give off that bright summer day mood.** So....I combined them.

:)

Sidenote: WIS- Your set is so cute!
