For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

You managed to uncover the previous puzzle in only 8 pages! I'm here
to make sure you're not quite so successful this time! This one will be just about infinitely harder than the previous one- but I'm going to make sure to liberally sprinkle hints in non-obvious places!
If you don't know what lateral thinking puzzles are, they're basically games in which you ask questions to try and determine what a scenario I'm thinking of is. Sort of like 20Q, but without a queston limit and you're not just guessing an item, but an event.
QUESTION NUMBER TWO:
A man leaped off of a tall building, killing himself. Everyone was very happy because of this. Why?
Thu Dec 29, 2005 8:39 pm
Would they have cheered if the man had died of other means?
Would they have cheered if you jumped off said building?
Thu Dec 29, 2005 8:45 pm
The man was a terrorist?
((:P I would have never guessed the answer to the previous one... too obvious to think about it, probably... whew, finally someone got it!))

Was he a stunt man?
Had he commited a crime?
If so, was he being hung?
How old was the man?
Who was present when he was jumping?
What type of building was he jumping off?
Why was he jumping off the building?
What did he land on?
Thu Dec 29, 2005 8:51 pm
Was he a robber?

*has never done this before*
Was he a murderer?
Was he mentally challenged?
Was he on trial for a crime?
Thu Dec 29, 2005 11:50 pm
Was he in the circus, blindfolded and believing there was a net below him ?

(The people cheered because they thought it was part of the act

)
And the last one wasn't really that laterally thinking. I thought there was some big secret to it, but we just had to ask about the background. I thought it'd be more obscure akin to the one where a man walks into a resteraunt, orders soup, takes one spoonful and shoots himself. (Won't spoil it here in case Tested wants to use it later, but you can't just guess it without spending hours of questioning xP)

I'm not going to use that one, only because all of mine are going to be original. But trust me-this one is 1000000 X the laterality of my previous one.
