pipsqueeek's Set Contest - *Results Up*

- Closed -

I've been here for almost a year, and yet I still have no set. I figured it's about time I got one. So in honor of my 500th post, I'm having a set contest.

So!

Stuff I Like (in no particular order)

Chocolate! and Ice cream. And other yummy sweets.

Music- I play fiddle, piano, clarinet, and I sing. I would absolutely *love* a fiddle set(or two, or three, or...) What would also make for a cool set would be sheet music.

Nature- anything nature. mountains, rivers, forests, etc. Beaches and such are also fine, though I'm more of a mountains and woods girl. Basically anything as long as there's no evidence of human influence. In any season, except maybe summer.

Storms- Snow storms or rain storms(or even ice storms if you'd like). Lightning is awesome.

Fire- candles, campfires, big flaming balls of fire flying through the sky(...what?), anything. So longs as it's not all red/orange muahaha you're in hell type thing.

Water- rivers, lakes, water droplets, rain, etc. anything water

Snow- snow is <3

Animals- domestic or wild. well... really cats or wild. From the magestic to the creepy. Anything goes.

Skiing and skating- (downhill skiing and figure skating)

Dance- any kind of dance really(well, except for the 'hey, look at me, I'm hardly wearing any clothes and I'm shaking my bum in your face' kind). Swirly skirts are awesome. And those cool positions that make you wonder how anyone could be that flexible.

Reading

Math

Fruit

Random stuff. Like just patterns or random shapes and such. And swirls. As far as colors go, I'm rather fond of blues, greens and purples, but don't make them all blue, green and purple, because that would get rather monotonous. I also like black, but not like goth black, just... black.

Subtexts-
Subtexts are optional. If you want to do one, here are the lyrics to some songs I like. The purple lines are ones I particularly like, but don't feel limited to them. If you want to do something else for a subtext, that's perfectly fine, although you may want to pm me about it first to make sure it's not something I hate.

Awards-
1st place- 100,000np
2nd place- 75,000np
3rd place- 50,000np

There might possibly be honorable mentions. If so, the prize(s) will be an as of yet undetermined amount of np and/or (an) item(s)

I think that's everything. Be sure to pm me with any and all questions you might have, as I've probably been very vague and confusing.

Now go crazy with the set making!

>> The fonts don't match since the font from the sig when shrunk comes out unreadable so I had to change it...if you want it changed though, I'll attempt to make 'em match [or I could just do the sig one in plain black inside]

I honestly can't tell the difference in the fonts... unless you mean blue outline vs solid black? If so, it's fine like that, don't worry. Only problem is that the av's just a bit too big for ppt size limits.

Love it though. Snow is <3. The scene looks like something I'd see driving down the road in winter

:P Whoops...sorry about the av... I was tired and I was using two different programs and so...err yea :)...lemme fix it

and yes, that was what I meant

Oops!

I was being a graphic artist, and I entered them over the size limits of PPT  Sorry.

But I fixed it!

Also changed border to be more visible:

Is this contest still open? I'd like to enter but it will probably take a few days for me to get something made and I just want to check first!

Yup, still open. I don't know when it's going to end, but definitely not for a while and I'll be sure to give notice long before it does.

Hm, it didn't turn out all that good x_x; I haven't made a single set for almost a year, so my skills have deteriorated ...

Not sure if you like this kind of style or not, but here's a nice, simplistic set. :P
