To all of those interested in joining, there are no sign ups. You can just start playing right off the bat. If you need additional help, I am here most of the time and more than willing to try to help as much as possible.
Story as of now:
The Moblin charges Mr Game & Watch and spears him for -2 damage. The Zu squawks and dives into the arena, pecking Marth for -5 damage.
Kite gets the defenseless Pokeball from where the referees dropped it.
Kite: Legendary bird. Come on, legendary bird.
The Pokémon that pops free is not legandary. The marumine rolls around before charging a mass of energy within itself. It explodes, dealing -5 damage each to Roy and Wario. As the dust settles, a large number of shadows appear on the field. A horde of NPCs have come to play. The members of Team Castlevania take their positions to repel the invasion.
In the GM’s office, Reno and Munro are being chewed out.
GM: What the hell were you two thinking!
Reno, Munro: Sorry sir.
GM: You two put a petty argument in front of doing your duty.
Reno, Munro: Sorry sir.
GM: You two are a disgrace to your units and yourselves.
Reno: Sir, he started it.
Munro: I did not! He was the one that attacked me first!
Reno: But you shot me!
Munro: Yuna shot you!
Reno: Lies! Lies and slander!
GM:
Slams his fist into the desk. Enough! Both of you. Now, until both of you can put your differences aside, I am relieving both of you from duty. Dismissed!
Reno and Munro leave the office. They glare at each other.
Reno, Munro: I hate you.
0500/1700 Rule: Regardless of when the last update occurred, you may make actions
after 5AM/PM your time zone. There is no need to wait for an update to make an action, but it is recommended. Any actions that break this rule will not count as a legal action and will be promptly (eventually) pointed out. If you miss one of the posting periods, you will not get an extra move. I will allow posts +5 minutes in so you don’t have to rush your action.

Dream Land: +20 - Skill Copy - Members may use any special belonging to any [Faction] member. (Check character guide or with the GM for specials)
Hyrule: +80 points - Magic Sack - Members may use any weapon unlimited times (weapon changes user after each use unless user can do unlimited attacks) (Check item guide or with the GM for items)
Independent: +0 (duh, they have no team)

Sephiroth: +40 - Sephiroth: Summon Sephiroth - Either: a Guard Armor or Dark Trooper appear; or Sephiroth appears for the round and deals up to -20 damage distributed among the remaining characters.

Square Enix: +100 points - Square Enix: Job Change - Members may use any Dressphere that is currently not being used (Check Dressphere guide or with the GM for Dresspheres). Counts as a weapon action

1:
All Brackets are Active!
2: Help save SG-1! Show Sci-Fi Channel we love our first and best Stargate. (There are petitions floating around somewhere. I know I signed one).
3: Something a little different with the reorganization. One character from each team went two one of four Brackets. We hade enough for almost three Brackets like that! The excess Square Enix, Hyrule, and Sonic characters went to even out the Brackets.
4: As a consequence of the Brackets like this, fewer specials will be given out in the next few rounds.
5: As a bonus for Announcement #4, a mass of specials will come out today!
6: The active Faction is Castlevania.
Soma, Simon, and Alucard will be the ones you want to use to thin some NPC numbers.

Reno: From FF VII and Advent Children. Sword-carrying ‘leader’ of the Turks. Fun loving and goofy guy. He can handle himself in a fight and has survived many epic battles.
Munro: From Star Trek: Elite Force and Elite Force II. Starfleet lieutenant that leads Hazard Team on the
USS Enterprise-E. He has fought: Borg, Klingons, Hirogen, Nausicaans, and Exomorphs.
